Cons: As it is a stand alone farm, there are no stores or restaurants close by. We had to drive every time we needed something. "

"Perfect location for a home base and day trips to Florence, San Gimignano (our favorite), Cinque Terre, and Siena. The local area is fantastic and we plan to come back and just stay locally. Restaurants were easy to get to and perfecto! The apartment is beautiful with great view of the vineyard and a steady breeze the whole time. Would highly recommend!"

"Amazing old castle. Great option! Beautiful gardens, dining room and views from the pool area. Staff service is awesome and food is very good. Pool is good also maybe the only con of this hotel is its location, at least for us, since it's a bit away from the main roads to discover Tuscany. Its probably a better option to go to a really nice place and relax in Tuscany for some days instead of a base of operations to discover Tuscany . Oh and the other thing is that there are no elevators and...

"This was a relaxing 7 day stay in the Tuscan countryside after touring Venice, Verona, Lake Como, Milan, and Cinque Terre. Since it was mid-October our party of 4 (in 2 apartments) had the place to ourselves. Our host Ilaria was most gracious and helpful in giving suggestions re restaurants, markets to visit, train rides. The apartments were updated country homes that were well equipped, clean and comfortable. Since these are older homes, they tended to be dark inside. Otherwise the view of the...
