"We stayed in what is described on this site as an “annex” room, which is actually a beautifully renovated room in the old coach house next to the on site cottage. "This property is outstanding in its location, in its cleanliness and comfortable room. Run by Joan, who is extremely helpful with any queries you might have, going out of her way to assist, she is a real professional, and likewise the waitress we had was exceptional. The accommodation was possibly the best we've ever had for peace and quiet, and again the breakfast was superb, one of our best ever we've had. We are looking forward to returning whenever we get the chance as it's so good. "

"Loved our stay at the Howard Arms! Surprised on the upside by the welcoming and friendly staff, the coziness of the bar and restaurant which was clearly a magnet for the local community, felt authentic and welcoming! Enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the evening, and an incredibly generous breakfast which we did not manage to finish due to the sumptuous dinner the night before! Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the surrounding Cotswold villages if you want something cosy and authentic! "
