"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was just as advertised and we were very pleased with the cabin and its amenities. The owners have obviously put a lot of work into making the property cozy and quaint. The small river peacefully running directly behind the house offered just about the only sound in this beautiful location in the Valley of the Pines. We would love to return to The Fishin’ Hole and would recommend it to others!"

"Accommodations were very comfortable lots of good pillows. Great dining table. Couch was falling apart.The floors had not been clean since the previous people stayed in there so it was kind of dirty. The fireplace was dirty, we did not use it. kitchen floor had food on the floor from the previous occupants. Lot of room in the bed rooms !"

"The cabin is small, cozy, and perfect for our family of four. You could certainly double up the upstairs beds and use the living room for more guests. We were in town to ski and snowboard, so 5 star accommodation was not necessary. The distance to the ski resort was “in between” for us. It’s walkable in snowboard boots, but I wouldn’t with ski boots or younger kids. Our biggest criticism was that the temp throughout the cabin fluctuates a lot. Bedrooms stay 15 degrees warmer than living/kitchen...

"Our family spent the week of Christmas at this house and had a wonderful time. It snowed on Christmas Day which made it even better. The house is located very close to town and easy to go back and forth for tubing, skiing, shopping, and eating. I would definitely recommend this house."

"A wonderful stay in unique accommodations. It was exactly as I expected and the remoteness and quiet was welcome. Thank you for putting those large windows around the bed. The weather cooperated on a few nights and the stars put on a show for us. How cool to be cozy in bed and seeing the stars surrounding us. The hot tub was a great addition. There seemed to be some construction/work being done around the property which took away a small bit of the ambiance but, I still highly recommend staying...
