"This apartment was the perfect place for our mother and son trip. The location of each bedroom being at either end of the apartment gave us the privacy we needed. "This is a lovely property at the heart of a busy village - beautifully decorated and very homely. We hosted Christmas for our family and it made a perfect home from home. I hadn't realised that this was the owner's own home, therefore the lack of available storage caught us out a bit. If we were staying for a couple of nights, outside of Christmas, the lack of storage wouldn't have been a problem, but, 5-6 clothes hangers between five adults, over 5 days at Christmas just wasn't enough. "Lovely well thought out little cottage in nice quiet area on outskirts of Bath. But local buses close by that make access to the city really easy. Although is a bit of steeper walk back up to the cottage might be harder for some with walking difficulties. Or driving in easy enough. After busy day was nice just to relax in comfortable lounge, and if not up for cooking def recommend the local chippy (if you gluten free they do cater on a Monday and Tuesday too). "We had a lovely stay and a really nice time at Larchmont Lodge. Plenty of space for 2 people. The house was well-equipped and comfortable, with everything we needed. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Slightly out of the way from town - a 20 minute walk, but bus routes are available very nearby, so it was still quite convenient to get into town. Would definitely recommend!"
