There are French doors leading to the decked seating area around the pond for those warm summer days. The kitchen is where you can enjoy cooking, eating, and chatting about your day’s adventures. There are two bedrooms on the first floor and a single bedroom on the ground floor near the shower room.

The local towns and villages of Alvechurch, Redditch (6 miles), Bromsgrove (7 miles) and the outskirts of Birmingham city. The beautiful village of Alvechurch is just over two miles away and lies in the valley of the river Arrow. It has a wealth of excellent places to eat including pubs, restaurants, and cafés. There is also a marina with plenty of opportunities to take a boat trip along the river. It’s a great base to really explore the heart of England with many local attractions nearby.
Birmingham city centre with its diverse selection of fantastic eating establishments, shopping at the famous Bull Ring, The Mailbox, the exciting nightlife of Broad Street and the beautifully developed canal side is just over 7 miles away. For chocolate lovers, no visit to the area is complete without a trip to Cadbury World just over 4 miles away. The NEC and Resort World with its huge numbers of exhibitions and concerts is 17 miles.
A little further afield but still within easy driving distance is the cathedral city of Worcester (23 miles) and the historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon (25 miles), the heart of Shakespeare country. Here you can discover all about ‘The Bard’ himself by visiting Shakespeare’s birthplace. Anne Hathaway’s cottage and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre are situated on the banks of the River Avon. You are also just 22 miles from Bewdley where you will find the West Midlands Safari Park and the Severn Valley Steam Railway. The Malvern Hills, Cotswolds and the Welsh mountains are all within an hour’s drive.
