Dream vacation home!
We absolutely loved our stay in Cas Abou!! The house was picture perfect, and even better than the listing photos. The view was stunning, perfect for watching sunsets over the ocean or sipping coffee in the morning. The pool was clean and refreshing after long days at the beach, and we loved grilling each night and dining al fresco. The house is situated to take full advantage of the wind to keep the house cool during the day, and we only used the AC in the bedroom at night. The small touches went a long way - storage containers and well stocked kitchen, laundry on site (worked just fine), wooden hangars (not cheap wire or plastic ones), spare pillows and linens, plenty of towels, safe in both closets, hot water, shaded parking for your car. We did not use the smaller apartment downstairs.
Cas Abou beach is 5 min drive, but there are even better private, secluded beaches hidden right in the neighborhood, or on the private property just to the north (15 min total drive). And yes, you can walk to the ocean via 2 private access points from this house and jump right in. If you are looking for a quiet retreat close to stunning beaches, this location is for you.
You will need a rental car for the grocery store, restaurants, etc.
The property managers Karin and Jan were friendly, helpful, and very responsive. We appreciated the optional airport transfer and use of the rental car. Ignore the one mean, negative review for this listing - this place is absolutely a dream.
