Queenslander house with plenty of space and very tropical.

Own entrance with code. Upstairs of a traditional Queenslander house with Tasey oak timber floors and rosewood timber spacious kitchen with all the pots and pans to make a lovely meal . Both bedrooms have king size beds. King bedroom is spacious , T.V and a spa bath for two. Queen bedroom has mountain view, double doors to the deck ,own bathroom and plenty of room.
It is a full house with an outside patio that goes right along the back looking over the pool, dining table and plenty of sitting areas. .There are three houses on the property that share the Pool which is magnificent with lovely greenery around. The owner lives in the house out the back. Nice and quiet area. Cafe,restaurants, bowls club and cafes 6 minutes walk away, shopping, botanical Gardens , hiking tracks, mountains view’s and Cairns city is 5km away. Bus stop is around the corner !

Terrible Experience
The Host was terrible. Very unprofessable. He got are check in day wrong. Wasnt there to meet us on timeThe Host let his dogs swim in the pool, in the welcome book it said no dogs in the poolNo glass in the pool. The Host drank beer ( glass bottle.) In the poolHouse was unscreened, you couldnt open the windows with out bugs coming inThe Hist didnt inform us there was an extra charge for a small dog...60 a day, we feel we were ripped offThe Host said there was parking for 2 cars but wanted us to move the cars. The Host accused us of bleaching the pillow cases and wanted a fee for sheets & pillow cases.We didnt do Any WashingIt was ment to be a relaxing week, what a jokeThe Host also wanted the air- con off when we went out. So are dog fried.My husband & I had a horrible experience & stay hereThe Host charged us an extra 440 for the week for are dog but the people downstair didnt get an extra charge for there doganywasWashing ??tcareAir-con had to be turned off

Pleasant, safe, family friendly.
We stayed here for two nights, home is beautiful, owners are lovely. We rented the second story and had heaps of privacy. The ground level had another apartment or 2, a beautiful swimming pool with a pair of friendly doggies joining in for a swim and play, but if you don't like dogs they are happy to remove them from the common area. We had an unexpected electrical issue which was promptly resolved by a friendly local electrician. Overall it was a wonderful stay, a great place to host friends or family with some entertainment available such as books, board games, playing cards and tv! So much fun that our kids didn't want to leave!

Craig met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment. Very tastefully decorated and well appointed with everything you would need. Extremely comfortable, clean and luxurious. Security was also well thought out. Pet friendly felt like home. 5 stars!

Room was Well kept and clean.pool was very pleasant. Owners very informative on what to do and where to go. We were able to see wallobies on the Helo pad. They like apples and carrots. The beaches were clean and tidy and very refreshing.A stay at the Tropical Palms was well worth the visit..

Stay at Whitfield
We enjoyed our stay at our accommodation in Cairns with our hosts Craig & Marianna, the house was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely pool to cool off in. Location was a perfect distance from the town center. Also their two gorgeous Jack Russell dogs were very pleasant and well behaved. We highly recommend staying here to anyone that is interested

Just Perfect
We had a fabulous 10 night stay at Craig and Marianna's beautiful anbd spotless property. The space is perfect and extremely well thought out with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. Pool and outdoor areas are immacualte, so pretty and we loved spending time in and around the pool playing with Archie mand Sissy. Such a brilliant location and Craig was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions of eateries etc. Was just what we needed and will definitely be back. Cheers Sue and Alan

Spacious and well located
The apartment is spacious and well equipped and the owner is friendly and helpful. We didn't see any shops and cafes to walk to but with a car it was very well located. The apartment felt a bit dark and enclosed because of the wooden shutters even when they were open so I missed having an outside view.

We (47, 49, 79) were lucky enough to spend 6 nights in this glorious home. Immaculately presented, full amenities and COMFORTABLE. A calm, peaceful, beautiful oasis to relax in after a busy day sight-seeing. The location was perfect for us, being a quiet suburb, just minutes from town. Hopefully we can return, one day.

2 apartments, one upstairs and one downstairs. Both spacious and very open with lots of louvre windows. Shared pool with other guests but that was fine. Very open plan upstairs may not be suitable for couples privacy. Really well stocked cupboards plus some essential basics like sauce, spices, paper towel etc. good options on cooking utensils. Would stay here again

Comfortable and Relaxing Stay
The place was very spacious and clean. Probably the cleanest place I've stayed in a while. There was air conditioning but the house is designed to keep cool so it was not needed all day. I'm sure when most people stay they rent a car, however, we did not which made the stay a bit more challenging. There aren't sidewalks in the neighborhood and there was not much within walking distance. The bus stops are less than a 10 minute walk but the buses only accept cash and do not run at night. The wifi went out a few times, but the host was available throughout the day to help and was very friendly. Overall, it was a nice stay and we appreciated the hospitality.

Super! Super! Super!
Super gracious host! Our flight was delayed and we ended up arriving about 6 hours later than expected and were bone-tired after traveling for 30+ hours. Craig had the lights on and everything looked so warm and welcoming! Super lovely home! Craig's place felt like home and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The ambiance of the house is warm and comfortable, with lots of places to sit and visit or just read a book. Craig has done a phenomenal job with the landscaping around the house and pool and we felt like we were in our own little piece of rainforest paradise. Super friendly and helpful! Craig was a resource for us whether we needed help with the stove or a suggestion for a place to eat or just a quick chat. We wouldh highly recommend this house and host!

Great Property!
We had a great 2 night stay at Craig and Marianna’s property! They were such welcoming hosts and made us feel very welcome. The property itself is amazing. Beautifully presented and very spacious. We enjoyed having a couple of beers with them in the afternoon, around the pool and letting our little doggo play with their two. Will definitely visit again! Thanks for having us guys!

An oasis in Cairns
This property was exactly what we need in the hot and humid stay in Cairns. The house is beautiful with 2 master suites, pool and backyard space amazingly tranquil. Enjoyed sharing the pool with owner/neighbor and his pups Archie and Cissy. There are a few restaurants and the bowling club nearby to walk to but you’ll need a car to get to Cairns and Reef activities.
