This updated home is tucked away in a quiet cove, making it perfect for some R&R with friends, family, or even just a couple's getaway. The fully remodeled kitchen is features new stainless appliances and the equipment you need to prepare your meals. Anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors will love lounging on the spacious back deck and playing yard games or making s'mores at the fire pit in the backyard!

Enjoy Blame It on Rio whether it's rain or shine with plenty of indoor and outdoor games and activities to choose from! The newly furnished game space creates a fun space for kids, and is stocked with board games to make a fun night for kids and adults of all ages. For outdoor fun you will find corn hole boards, floats, and paddle boards in the shed!

Lovely Lake Home

This was our first visit to Lake Norman, and we could not have been more pleased. We had to contact the property management company about the door code upon arrival, and they were very prompt in responding and resolving the issue. The house was very clean when we arrived, and we were pleasantly surprised to find it actually had four bedrooms vs. the three that were advertised (the fourth might not legally qualify as a bedroom is all I can think). The house was very well appointed with bath towels, outdoor towels, kitchen appliances, cooking supplies, and househould necessities (hand soaps, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, trash bags, etc.). The deck and outdoor furniture were very nice, and even though we didn't use the fire pit, we relaxed in the chairs around it in the evenings. We had our dogs with us, so we brought a baby gate to block off the deck stairs to contain them since there's no fence. (Note, bring bug spray if you plan to spend time outside.) The lake setting is beautiful. We rented a boat for a few days, and the lake was so serene and peaceful. It's really wide and spacious, and we were able to navigate around the lake easily with no boat traffic. There are literally no complaints or gripes about the house or our stay there. I'd definitely recommend.

Thanksgiving Stay

This property was cute, functional and well managed! It is a small house but put together so well. Kitchen was very well appointed and stocked with key necessities! It is a great location with lots to do near by. Beds were comfy and house was super clean. Will stay again!

Great house and location

My husband and I stayed here with our dog for several days checking out the area to potentially live one day. The house and location were great. We were able to explore all the surrounding neighborhoods while just a short 30 minute drive to downtown Charlotte. The house was very clean and nicely decorated with all the necessities. We enjoyed our time on the deck overlooking the water every day as well as the access to the private beach just up the road. Highly recommend!

Lake house getaway

Perfect long weekend at lake Norman. We had 5 adults and 2 small dogs and the house was comfortable at that number. The kitchen was well appointed for us to make some meals. We played games and spent lots of time outside on the amazing deck off the back. The kayak and paddle board were a nice addition for the weekend. Great walking in the neighborhood, great location to restaurants and stores. Also spent an afternoon in downtown Charlotte which wasn’t far. Would 100% stay again. Thanks!

Lake Life

Loved living the Lake Life - Blame it on Rio was great… The entire group loved the location and all of the amenities. Lake Norman was wonderful. We rented a boat from Lake Norman Boat rentals and had a blast in and on the water. We will definitely be back…
