Had a great stay at the music house. Only complaint is that the thermostat cannot be changed, which means the house gets pretty cold when the outside temperature drops. Otherwise a perfect stay. Great communication from host.

Much better than expected.
Was just looking for a place to stay that wasn't a hotel. This was much better. Great kitchen, large fridge, den and TV, and clearly antique appointments. I love a gas stove. The owner was very unselfish and I wish I lived close enough to go back. I know you are scrolling for other places to stay. You should stop and stay here, drink coffee, or tea. Classy house. I never write reviews. My wife says this is enough.

Denver Music House
This is an amazing stay for any music lover anywhere! The walls adorn record awards for Michael Drum of Music Link from a vast variety of artists, a lovely piano to play in the living room and so many books about music I wish we had more time to read! The home is so comfortable, it felt like we'd been living there a long while; upon entering one of favorite music artists was playing on the TV music stream, such a welcoming feeling w/snacks and many food provisions in fridge and cupboards. We had an opportunity to meet Michael and enjoyed our conversation about his music history and experience. Definitely a legend in Denver and beyond!

Wonderful place, and a great host!
The place is rich with musical history and is located near so many restaurants and attractions you’ll have no shortage of things to do. The host was very nice and told some amazing stories about the music industry and the folks he had met being a part of it. We went to Casa Bonita (watch the documentary about it before you go, as he suggests) and Meow Wolf while we were there. Was a wonderful trip and we would absolutely stay there again.

Really enjoyed the accommodations. The house has a lot of character. Nice quiet neighborhood with good restaurants nearby. The house (AKA The Denver Music House) is full of music memorabilia. Got to meet Mike, the owner. Terrific guy! made us feel right at home. Whenever we visit Denver, this will always be our first choice. Thanks, Mike!

Location was perfect. It was within 15 minutes of everything my group had planned, in most cases within 5 minutes. No issues with the property, check in was simple, and check out was just as easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Don't read this
I hate to give a review because I only have good things to say and I don't want anyone else to find out about this amazing house and then I can't come back because it's all booked out. Yes. I am selfish. :) This house is the best VRBO I've every stayed at. Beautiful neighborhood with easy access to public transit and shopping. We flew into town so we didn't have a car, but walked just around to corner to grab groceries and get a coffee at Starbucks. Easy to get to the Union station to take the rail train to the airport. The musical memorabilia was a highlight. I haven't played the piano in years, but happily sorted through the sheet music and played Christmas carols while sipping coffee. The front porch is covered and with hanging solar lights and a porch swing, you'll never want to leave! The free-standing clawfoot tub and shower was so fun. And original doors and hardware had me swooning. I will most definitely be staying again. The host, Mike, was absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to go back. So I hope you're not reading this. Uhhh...I heard this place is booked for the exact dates you want. Sorry. This is my house now. :)

Absolutely perfect!
Michael’s place was so fantastic. Check in process was smooth, the space was clean, bright and welcoming with an array of music memorabilia adorning the walls. (Ask the host about these- stories for days!) We had come to see a show at Red Rocks and Michael took us and picked us up from the show (for a reasonable fee that most likely beats Uber prices….) Comfortable bed and couch, kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need if you want to cook, and the neighborhood was just lovely. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Communication was stellar for the duration as well. I will never stay anywhere else in Denver as long as Michael’s is available! 10/10

A bit odd
Upon my arrival the owner was inside the VRBO. The heat was set at 74 and the owner said the thermostat regulated the temp in his home and the attached VRBO. He also noted the windows did not open. Also, I found I was unable to lock the door between his home and the attached VRBO. at my request he installed a lock on the door, brought me a fan for the bedroom, and agreed to adjust the heat to 68 degrees. He also told me he had a vibrating bed in his basement that I could try out. I adamantly declined. I only stayed 7 days of the 30 days I had booked, due to a family emergency. I requested a partial refund but this was declined by the owner.

A great experience
I booked this property to surprise an old friend from high school who is really into music. He enjoyed the history of the place and had a special treat when the owner stopped by and shared stories with him. We also thought the location was great as it was within walking distance of some interesting restaurants, bars, and convenience stores.

Great place. Watch for the exchange rate and hidden fees
The advertising is deceiving on VRBO. Don't look at the average night fee, it's not relective of the actual price you'll pay. Ended up costing me significantly more than the average night fee which I was quoted plus all the closing fees, taxes and vacation taxes. In total it came to significantly more than a hotel room would have cost. . Really not worth that. It's very deceptive how VRBO lists their properties.

Weekend trip to Denver
Let's get the negative out of the way. This place needs a deep clean. It also did have a funk smell when we arrived but I promptly found incense and incense holder that was out and decided to get that going. It cleansed the air a bit. That did the trick at least for us. I still gave it 5 stars. The bathroom grossed me out (shower curtain and floor) I felt like I was staying at a friends place and they weren't too tidy or clean. It made me wonder about the rest of the house and if other things were really clean. We were only there for two nights so I just sucked it up. Let's talk about the good stuff. There is a lot of good to talk about. The house and space is special. I felt honored to stay amongst someone's special accolades and career highlights in the music industry. It was even more fun because we came to Denver to see a show at Red Rocks. Location was spot on. Parking easy peasy. Bed was comfy. The accommodations were very nice (just needed a deep clean) . I really liked the house and vibe. We enjoyed the front porch. We really appreciated the snacks that were left and unopened items in the fridge (like butter/beer etc) was nice. We paid that forward with leaving a beer or two for the next guest. I thought it was quaint to walk into the house with music playing from the TV. That was a nice touch. I would absolutely stay here again, but I would kindly request a deep clean and/or deduct money from my stay and I'll deep clean the place before I go!

The local area is spectacular, with shopping, food and restaurants. The host is beyond personable and friendly and evens provides complimentary coffee, cream, sweeteners and other kitchen snack starters, to get you going!! This property is highly recommended for a “home-away-from-home” feel!!
