"I can’t say enough about this property and the owners. Hugh was most accommodating and the property is very well appointed and very comfortable. If you want a quiet relaxing place to get away. This is it! "

"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in. Two notes: There is no A/C (which I didn’t realize but that’s on me and not the fault of the listing) and if you come in August, bring some heavy duty deet bug spray. Mosquitos are no...

"The house was amazing! Very modern and state of the art but extremely comfortable. Immaculately clean. The water views and sunsets were incredible. Hosts were very attentive to questions. The only downside, there were six adults and the hot water didn’t last beyond two showers."

"Our first time exploring Cape Breton and we made this our base for a few days. We were expecting it be rustic and it sure was - a real old-style beach cabin. The plumbing had a few issues but it delivered hot water no problem. The kitchen is the front entry so a bit crowded. Still, we had a great stay. "We just returned from a week's stay at this place. It really is peaceful and relaxing. It was in a perfect location, close to family. Everything we needed was available. Martin and family are wonderful people. We will definitely return again. Thanks for a fantastic holidy."

"This is a charming cottage for getting away from it all. Secluded and rustic. Wildlife and wildflowers. We enjoy cooking for ourselves during vacations, so the kitchen is a plus. Nearby Montague has two grocery stores, and you can pick up local produce at roadside stands. For the best local food shopping, head to Charlottetown Farmers Market and fish shops. My husband and I have stayed in this cottage twice and plan to return again!"

"We were two couples touring cape breton; the Collingwood villa was a great place to regroup and rest for 2 days ; place had amazing pristine beach and beautiful sunsets; great spot to visit the local attractions in Mabou and Port Hood . "Absolutely perfect. The host is amazing, Alex checked in on us a few times and respected our privacy. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything, nothing missing. The property is beautiful. Just pack your suitcase, groceries and alcohol and you are all set. Thanks again for sharing this beautiful spot with us"
