"This is a lovely place. The decor is both calming and serene, but also whimsical and creative. We had a delightful stay and enjoyed the areas nearby. We both used to live in Oakland. We had a perfect launching pad for visits to our old haunts. Thank you so much to the hosts!"

"Space was plenty, light was good. Anne was very responsive to hear about issues that came up, but it took longer to get them resolved. The Continental club across the street had no shows booked during our stay, so there was not a noise problem."

"What a fun house with so many amazing details. We had a great time exploring the house and enjoying the decor. The rooms were all comfortable and the bathrooms were gorgeous. There was nowhere for all of us to sit comfortably together and chill but we ended up on the floor in the beetle juice room at night and on the beds in the front bedroom for coffee in the morning. So glad to know about this unique spot!"

"Enjoyed 5 nights while we explored San Francisco and then headed to Yosemite. Location is up and coming in an industrial area. We found everything we needed, including some great restaurants. The condo was clean and as-advertised."

"We totally enjoyed our stay at the beach house. I loved the private sitting areas in both the front of the house to have morning coffee. And the back of the house to relax after a fun day. Loved the tall table for games! They thought if absolutely everything. Can’t thank you enough for sharing this awesome home!! Highly recommend this home!!!!"

"The guest cottage is even better than the VRBO descriptive explains...very quaint, everything you could need, wonderful sunlight in the mornings, a lovely porch with chickens doing short serenades...did you know that the Pazzis were foiled from assassinating the Medici out in the country by chickens? That is why you will see chicken shaped pitchers, seriously. So, very safe! Very quiet! And close to the park and those lovely redwood trees--the 12 apostles, the Faery Ring. Easy to get everywhere...

"Our VRBO was clean and welcoming. It was a perfect little home away from home. Our host, Dee, left us a welcoming note and was quick to answer whatever questions we had! Would definitely recommend this property as one to book if you are staying in the area!!"

"We loved Stella's ground floor apartment -- clean, bright, spacious, it served all of our needs. The kitchen had just enough of everything utensil-wise for us to cook simple meals. Very convenient neighborhood with easy parking. The only caveat is that we sometimes heard music at night -- loud bass on someone's sound system. But otherwise this is a real find and we enjoyed being able to spread out."

"This property worked out well for us, and my family was generally happy with our stay there. The TVs in every room with Roku allowed us to utilize our various streaming services, and keep everyone entertained, and the location was an excellent fit for our local needs in San Leandro. We were invited to utilize the garage for parkings, which was certainly appreciated. However, without a remote for the garage door opener, we often ended up just parking in front of the closed garage instead, and...
