"Nice, homey stay. We were visiting to attend a family member’s 60th in Oakland. The property was comfortable and quiet. We were able to reach Amber quickly when we needed to check on something with her. We will stay here again when we visit the area again."

"The place is exactly as pictured, and even more charming and comfortable in person. The location is perfect, close to everything but serene and peaceful as well. It's less than a 10 min Uber ride from Berkeley (we were visiting our college kid), and we had no problems getting rides. The communication from the host was above and beyond, which we appreciated. Overall I'd give 10 stars if possible, and we definitely look forward to coming back to hopefully check out more of the surrounding area,...

"The innkeeper was incredible and was SO helpful with everything! The house was really detailed and my kids loved it! Our only issue was that it didn’t feel very clean. My mom ended up cleaning the inside of the microwave while we were there and a lot of the kitchen and bathrooms could have used a deep clean. It really felt like a “fun house” and not a proper vacation/short term rental. I don’t think that I would stay here again as a vacation rental, but I would definitely recommend it to...

"The only drawback of this place is that parking on the lane, if you have to carry luggage etc, is impossible, as there is no place to turn around without executing a 12-point turn. "We loved Stella's ground floor apartment -- clean, bright, spacious, it served all of our needs. The kitchen had just enough of everything utensil-wise for us to cook simple meals. Very convenient neighborhood with easy parking. The only caveat is that we sometimes heard music at night -- loud bass on someone's sound system. But otherwise this is a real find and we enjoyed being able to spread out."
