"Such a good spot to stay and close to the city. Staff are all lovely. The place was spotless. Good facilities. However when we went into the communal space with the pool table and stuff. There was some people in there drinking which is fair enough. But I’ve never been chased out of a room so fast by the looks we were given as if we were invading their space. Other then that pretty happy with our stay"

"The property is excellent. 5 Stars!!! The problem was that we went to the address given on the confirmation but nobody was there to talk to. Since we had no WiFi available we could not contact the phone number supplied and nobody sent a reply when we finally had a WiFi connection. Luckily for us, one of the residents across the street came and contacted the people at Urban Retreats. "I didn't realize this was a student dorm facility that apparently they rent out during the summer months. No air conditioning in the room and it was quite warm in there. Not much in the area in regard to dinning or anything else. Lots of students around being loud at night. Check-in was interesting because it's not like a regular hotel. "Everything was readily available, super convenient, great location and much better than a hotel. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, full kitchen, large common area and laundry facilities in the same complex. "

"Staff was very friendly and accomodating, which is the most important point for me. Bonus points for the gym. There is a kitchen available to make meals and watch TV. I liked the location as well - calm, quiet and with public transport nearby. "

"This is a beautiful property with stunning views towards Kinsale. The property is very well located to a number of major sites. If you enjoy small Irish towns and countryside, you will love this location. Our children and grandchildren also enjoyed the sport field, trampoline and ping pong table. "The house is perfect for what we wanted. Looking for a place to relax and unwind, with some interesting things close by to do when wanted, but a good place to simple be peaceful and to relax. We did all we intended. Clonakilty is a great town. Grocery store nearby was perfect for all our needs. House had all the kitchen stuff necessary to make meals and feel at home. "

"We enjoyed an extended stay at Pallas Lodge. It’s in a peaceful location. As hosts, Pat and Kay were responsive and helpful. The gardens surrounding the home are beautifully designed and looked after with care. Views the water and the mountains from the property are stunning. The location afforded day trips to Allihies, Eyeries, Castletownbere, and the entire Beara Peninsula. We highly recommend Pallas Lodge. "

"They gave me s room just in front of train station...I asked for a change and they said yes...and 3h later they said no...and the day after they didn't ask about the noise or how I sleep... I chosed double room king bed...and they put 2 individual bed together, really uncomfortable. It's a pity because I knew this hotel previously with a good feedback. Unfortunately after this stay, I'll never back!! Too expensive and horrible service"
