"Lovely rooms. Nice spacious modern shower. Reasonably priced. Access to parking is tricky in a big vehicle, but plenty of room on street if you don't mind a few steps. Great location (less than 5 minutes from Bowness.) Would definitely return."

"What can i say, everything was perfect. Upon entering the building using the very clear instructions and getting our key, to entering the room. Room 2 Coniston. It was absolutely spotless, very spacious with a nice homely feel to it. Kitchen area was really good, all the appliances and accessories we needed. Very comfy & large bed. Dog friendly room with a dog bed, bowl, treats and towel. Booked again for November Perfect location, you really are at the centre of the town. "

"Erika's cottage was clean, well equipped and in a quiet location. The view of Blencathra from the back of the cottage is beautiful and we loved seeing the red squirrels who were daily visitors. We didn't meet our hosts so can't comment on them but the emails via VRBO were adequate and we found our way in and around easily. The extra information about the area was very welcome. My only comment about our arrival is that the cottage was extremely cold and it took a while for it to warm up. The...

"Our 2 night break at Daisy lodge was everything we hoped it was. We had been looking forward to our little break away and it did not disappoint. The lovely doggy basket on arrival was great for our 2 little ladies.The lodge is in a lovely setting just a couple of minutes from the lake and the site itself had a lovely little shop snd leisure facilities.We definitely recommend this lodge for a get away from everything."

En cuanto a la casa, decir que es necesario mejorar muchas cosas para que la estancia sea cómoda y placentera, empezando como punto principal por la limpieza. "The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area. Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area. A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the property."

"What an amazing property! We could not have been more impressed. Just gorgeous. Very, very happy with my experience with friends on my 50th, it was just wonderful. Our host was really helpful and helped on follow up queries. Can get a bit colder in the night for those staying up late, but on balance I could not be more happier about my stay. All my guests were hugely impressed with the venue. "
