"The sheets and carpet were dirty. It was cold in the room and the mattress was old, there was no way to sleep."

"Couldn't have asked or organised a better place to stay! Easy to book, clean and modern room, wonderful staff, close vicinity to a wedding venue we were attending, plenty of parking (if not outside your room in another car park behind), also close to local main road (but far enough away no noise issues etc) of wonderful eateries and eclectic op shops and treasure troves. Looking forward to sometime coming back and staying again with more time to spend perusing the local area... thanks Pedlars...

The location is just a short walk to the village where there are some good options for breakfasts. I was given a bag of feijoas on leaving, a real treat, thanks to Alison. "This was an excellent place to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host and several dogs! The tiny house was in a paddock with sheep, a horse and chickens but was so peaceful. It was very clean and comfortable and, although compact, it had everything we needed including some breakfast items. We enjoyed listening to the birds and loved it so much that we wished we had been staying longer. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is the place to go."

"Lovely home on Firth of Thames. Town is isolated and minimal food available on Monday since restaurants closed and no grocery store. Despite small check in hiccup promptly resolved by owner Paul, we loved his home. "

"We love going to Whiritoa, and this bach didn't disappoint! Nice wee modern bach a quick walk from the southern end of the beach. Good amenities, and comfy rooms. Heat pump for comfort if needed. Good communication with the owner. We enjoyed our little getaway, thanks!"
