"I had read some not so great reviews before leaving however I found Amora Lagoon a lovely hotel. It is a hotel in another country so things aren’t always going to be exactly what you expect from a local hotel however I found it quite pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was clean and beautiful, the room clean and comfortable with air conditioning and only a few minutes drive to the airport. "Jennis and his wife are extremely helpful. The hotel is clean and well kept. Not only were they able to assist in my commute to the airport and back, they were able to help me to items I needed, plan other upcoming trips and even store my luggage until my final stay before returning home. Jennis even kindly gave me a ride to the bus stop and would not even take any money!! Top notch establishment!"

"Prisvärt, trevligt ställe nära flygplatsen vilket var bra då vårt flyg landade sent. Hotellet hämtade för 12$US. Åkte vidare på morgonen och hade resan resplan. Annars kan de hjälpa till med det. Som alla ställen vi bott på i Sri Lanka var personalen mycket trevlig. Vi bor på mellanklass mindre hotell och alla har varit familjära och välkomnande."

"My wife and I decided to stay here after our flight arrived late at night. The address on google is totally different than the actual address. There were some miscommunications and after hours of search for the place (no signs) we ended up finding another dodgy hotel at 2:30am.
