"Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment. "The Administrative staff, hospitality personnel and taxi driver Mr Wallace were friendly and excellent. The restaurant food was tasty. The rooms were well furnished and comfortable; however, the property requires some maintenance as outside our balcony there was stagnant water that resulted in sandflies and mosquitoes. Other than that, our 6 days stay was great!! Will recommend."

"Excellent house, solidly build and well designed. We loved staying there. It’s a unique location and you are able to see both ocean sides from the house. The house is equipped with all utilities you need during a stay. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning, so it can be quite warm at night. Cleanliness could be improved here and there. Overall we still loved the place and would book it again. Also the local contact is a very helpful person and very punctual and reliable. "

"This is our second time staying at Balisier, and as usual we had a fantastic stay. The property was clean, very well kept just as the picture and truly a home from home vacation spot. Ryan is a very good host anything we needed he was on the other end of the phone and arranging it, we lacked nothing. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for quality accommodation and a fantastic location in Picard, Portsmouth. Keep up the good work Ryan we will be back."
