"This secluded hideaway cabin is obviously a home with years of accumulation of entertainment and home away from home necessities. Despite its age, it was incredibly clean. If vacationing in the Williamsburg area, the ferry is fun and adds to the “family entertainment”. "This is such a cosy house! I adore the floor plan, the huge backyard, the front porch! I personally love hearing the far away trains passing by, definitely not an obnoxious sound just peaceful. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe! We were able to bake my 4 year olds cake and celebrate his birthday! It's right between richmond and Fort Lee/Fort Gregg-Adams so its a very minimal commute whicever direction. We qould definitely stay here again!"

"This was an amazing weekend that we didnt even know we were going to have. This Home was classical. Large enough for 12 people to not even feel crowded at any time. The kids forgot about there phones ipads and games as they wondered around the place along with hiking down to the beach. The Adults were just in awe."

"We stayed 3 nights for bike riding on the Virginia-Capital Trail. The location is almost mid-way between Richmond and Williamsburg, directly across from the trail on the John Tyler Memorial Hwy. The amenities were just right: a good sleep, hot shower, comfortable living room for reading or TV. The kitchen/living room makes eating-in easy, but there are also local eateries that provide good, classical food. "This was a great home to stay at while we visited the area over a long weekend. It was one of the cleanest places I have stayed at including some hotels. Great location, just far enough away from attractions to give you a break from people, but close enough to be convenient. The host was responsive and had good directions. Would stay again. "

"We just loved staying here. We all had our own amazing rooms. Everything was stylish and clean. Essentials were provided like shampoo, body wash, and conditioner in the bathrooms as well as sugar, coffee and tea in the kitchen. We needed assistance once and the host helped us out immediately. Very kind. Our dog enjoyed the space as well. Thank you. "

"Unit was modern, clean and confortable. Well worth the cost, Hopewell may not be everyones cup of tea but we thoroughly enjoyed the quaintness. Like the town was frozen in time, riding over the Appomatox each day gave a feel of staying on an island."
