Retiro privado que ofrece soledad y relajación.

Bienvenido a Cedar Springs Reserve. La propiedad es de 170 acres y rodea 398 acres de lago poco profundo y humedales. Si te gusta pescar, hay loros y percas azules que se pueden sacar de los lirios, pero tendrás que trabajar duro para encontrarlos.

Hay mucha vida salvaje. Fabuloso tubo de río a solo unos minutos. Chef privado profesionalmente entrenado también disponible.

Canoas y kayaks disponibles. Toda la instalación está en proceso de renovaciones continuas, espere nuevas alfombras, accesorios, electrodomésticos.

El espacio
Extiéndase en un cómodo dormitorio principal con cama King, su propia sala de estar, TV, armario y baño privado. Un segundo dormitorio de la reina espera con un armario completo, TV y su propia puerta exterior. La "Habitación Hardy Boy" cuenta con dos camas individuales, escritorio y armario. Hay un loft con dos camas individuales más. Estamos constantemente agregando toques finales, por lo que nos disculpamos porque no todas las áreas están completas todavía. Agregaremos fotos durante las próximas semanas, se terminarán diferentes áreas.

El salón es de concepto abierto, con chimenea de gas y TV vía satélite y conduce a una gran terraza.

Nuestra casa tiene sonido envolvente ahora con bluetooth para que pueda tocar sus propias canciones y sonarán muy bien.

Acceso de invitado
Los huéspedes pueden tener toda la propiedad, a excepción de los garajes de almacenamiento donde guardamos nuestro equipo. Hay una carpa afuera donde guardamos nuestra pila de madera para nuestros materiales de construcción, por favor indique a los niños que se mantengan alejados de eso. Por ejemplo, no anunciamos un gran bar / terraza acristalada en la que se está trabajando pero que aún no está lista para ser ocupada.

Otras cosas a tener en cuenta
Nuestro lugar aún no es 100% perfecto ya que hay muchas comodidades planificadas que aún estamos trabajando para completar. La terraza acristalada no está completa, el muelle aún necesita mejoras y la bañera de hidromasaje / pabellón aún están en construcción. El jacuzzi está funcionando, simplemente no tiene el pabellón que estamos modificando, es funcional pero no muy "hermoso". Hay una carpa afuera donde guardamos la madera en la que estamos trabajando (toda la madera que usamos es de la propiedad y tiene que ser cortada y aserrada, pelada a mano, para que vea muchas cosas en progreso)

Secluded getaway

We enjoyed the property and our time there. It was secluded and very private. Cabin was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had most of the items we needed for our stay. Spent some time near Shawno swimming at the beach and did some hiking at Shute Pond. Lots of great places to eat nearby.

Weekend Stay

Property was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a weekend stay in the Shawano area. Turning off the highway onto the gravel road and traveling between the neighboring farms, we didn't know what to expect, but quickly found ourselves among the trees and next to the water for a secluded and private stay. The house itself was constructed and is well cared for and loved by the host's family - it was really cool to see pictures of their efforts in the guest book. The hosts were communicative as necessary, but also left us to enjoy our stay in peace.

We would stay here again!

We visited this property in July which is peak horsefly season so we were unable to explore and experience as much as we would like but we still had a blast. Pros: Nicely decorated bedrooms with comfy beds with amazing sheets, large, functional kitchen, Indoor and outdoor hammocks, hot tub, several grills, campfire area with wood and chairs, secluded yard with trails and access to kayaks on Christy Lake, much seating for watching tv, playing games or relaxing with a book(4 seasons addition is awesome), extra supplies throughout house, dog friendly! Cons: We did book during peak time of summer but feel the cottage was not very clean(master shower and kitchen sink were not cleaned and dishwasher was full) and we started with 1 towel in each bathroom(we did find the extras). Bin for hot tub towels was empty as well. The kitchen is great but the utensils are old and flimsy. Not great options to do dishes manually other than old Hand towels. The kitchen is huge but most of the cupboards are full with supplies for the projects and cleaning supplies, a bit disorganized. There is a table top ice maker because the fridge one was broke, had to use bottled water because the water is gross tasting. There are areas of covered supplies for the cottage renovation projects that were easy to get around but we found lots of garbage throughout the property as well. Master bathroom is nice with a double sink vanity but the shower is super small And terrible showerhead, other shower was great!

July 10 - July 14, 2024 (Crissy’s Bday weekend)

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful and secluded. Lots of amenities and thoughtful details throughout to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The pictures don't do this property justice. There's private access to a lake with kayaks for fun. There's a small boat too, but we found the kayaks easier to maneuver around the lily pads. There's also a private hot tub that's perfect for starting your day, or finishing it off. We had such a grateful time here and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to get away from city life, it's very quiet, clean, and disconnected. Warning, the wifi is very bad (they recognize this upfront) so just be aware. It's nice to stay in touch with family and friends, but because it's such a remote location, I guess this remains a challenge. Thank you Jim and Yana for sharing this diamond in the rough with all of us.

Wonderful northern getaway

Cabin property was just as advertised. Great getaway with homey touches of full kitchen and outdoor gas grill on the deck. We had beautiful weather and spent much of our time relaxing at cabin, kayaking on lake, or taking short adventures to places like Shawano Lake County Park or Cathedral Pines Nature Preserve. Each evening we topped off by watching the sunset and listening to frogs at our own bonfire with s'mores. Afterwards, we relaxed in the hot tub before heading in for the night. Look forward to visiting the place again and seeing what new features are added to the place!

Winter Getaway

We had a lovely time! We wanted a private weekend to relax and that's exactly what we got. The dogs loved to romp around the property and we loved the warm fireplace and hot tub to come back to. You could feel the home was built with love and care and made for the perfect weekend!

Came up to race at the Shawano kart track

My family and I came up for the weekend to practice on the kart track to get ready for nationals. The location was perfect, the cabin was beautiful, couldn’t have pictured a better place. We had a blast kayaking, hanging out in the hot tub and my two boys (ages 12 and 8) loved the hammock and sleeping upstairs in the loft. Wonderful interaction with Jim, very quick to reply and we had everything we needed. Hopefully we can stay again sometime time!

Absolute Gem

Another year at this wonderful Home. Stayed 7 nights and 8 days and snowmobiled all the time. It's a perfect location with quick access to the NST and Christie Lake. It's location for eats is PERFECT too. Everyone must visit the Washington Inn Supper Club in Cecil, awesome food and great drinks. When at the property you have everything though, you need to make breakfast, lunch and dinner….. done get pan, pot, etc. it’s right there for yah. Everything is always clean and comfortable. We had a bonfire, listened to music, laughed and drank, (It was 5 degrees out that day) played cards and ran the gas fireplace. It was a great trip... Hats off Jim and Yana thanks again for the great stay!

The cabin was warm and cozy with beautiful decorations and design. The location was very private and quiet especially when the fresh snow came. We enjoyed the hot tub and Jim was very helpful in times of need.

Perfectly Accurate

The property is exactly as described but even nicer than expecting! I absolutely needed serenity and quiet and it was a perfect getaway from life. Luckily for us, the floating little house wasn’t rented out so there was absolute silence. The only advice I would give or item I would change would be to add reflector house numbers on the side of the mailbox. I read through another review about the difficulty of finding the road so I was really looking for a turnoff IMMEDIATELY after another driveway. The property sign with the number is facing the opposite direction of the way in and in weeds. Thank you for the stay and we look forward to booking it when the remodel is complete (at the same rate would be great!). ;)
