"My wife and I spent 3 nights at The Chocolate Box. We had the entire cottage, which included 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen , living room and a washing machine. It was an extremely peaceful and relaxing stay. It was so quiet as well. The location is perfect for day trips to Cork and Cobh, as well as the Ring of Kerry. Lidl was only a 10 minute drive away "

"we had a nice holiday, quality price ratio was reasonable. the cottage is very poorly maintained and not clean. the owner is super friendly. Internet is via prepaid card with limited use costs her €50… each time she tops up. she had to do this twice, she was not very happy with it."

"We had a wonderful stay. A very special thank you to Sean, who is part of the owner’s family and was incredibly kind and attentive. He explained everything with great care, made us feel truly welcome, and even shared interesting stories about the family and the place, as well as giving us excellent tips. The room was beautiful, with a very comfortable bed and a fantastic shower (even the soap was great!). Breakfast was served with the same warmth and attention, and the whole place was simply wonderful. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. "

"Llegamos tarde y ya no había cena pero fuimos al pueblo, compramos comida y cenamos en la terraza tomándonos unas cervezas y escuchando música. Muy amables. Las vistas de la habitación, espectaculares. Muy bien ambiente en el bar. La habitación espaciosa y cómoda. "
