"The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and has a delightful secluded back garden. It is located in a beautiful part of rural Crete with magnificent views of the White Mountains. We particularly enjoyed doing the many local walks. Booklets and maps were provided in the cottage and made following the trails very easy. There are many bars and restaurants in nearby villages which provide very affordable and delicious food and a very warm welcome. Not to be missed is a visit to nearby Vamos...

"The property was very comfortable for a family with a nice outdoor area to eat and hang out. Comfy beds and big shower. Very close to the beach and restaurants and an easy walk or drive to supermarkets. We like that the area was quiet compared to Fira and Oia, thw ocean was beautiful to swim in and we hired a car to see the rest of the island. "We stayed at the Goatshed for a week and had a great time. The property had everything we needed and Fida and Chris were on hand if you needed them, but respected your privacy so you could enjoy the peace of the surroundings or a dip in their plunge pool to cool off. You get a lovely welcome package with yogurt, honey, olives, wine and homemade bread and fava dip which was delicious.
