Enjoy the Gulf Sunsets from the beach at this Beachfront Complex!

This two bedroom, one bath vacation rental accommodates up to six with sleeper sofa in living room. Unit is fully tiled and completely renovated. Freshly painted with new furniture throughout. Modern, beach themed condo makes you feel right at home! Kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, icemaker and granite counters. Breakfast bar has seating for 4. Walk out the door, down the steps, and sink your toes in the sand!

Bedroom 2: Twin/Full Bunk
Sleeper Sofa: Queen

Approx Area: 600 Sq Ft

Condo is close to town, only 2.0 miles west of Hwy 59, directly on the beach. Small, private pool area just across from this condo too.

Parking for two cars directly under this first floor condo. No private balcony, but large breezeway for seating, just steps from the white sand beach.

Convenience store Waves Beach mart, The Beach House Kitchen, Island Ice Cream, and S & S Seafood Market conveniently located across the street, everything you need is within reach.

Common/public deck areas for viewing. Grilling area also (no grills provided). Non-Smoking Unit. Oversize vehicles will not fit in the parking spot. No trailers, high top vans, boats, etc are allowed on the premises. Vans with roof racks or taller vehicles with roof racks will need to have racks removed to fit in parking spaces.

**New non smoking rules:

There will be a designated smoking area on the north side of the dumpster enclosure (NOT inside the enclosure). We are working to make this area appealing to the eye and sheltered to provide as dry as possible for guests who are smokers, it will also have a butt dispenser. We are hoping that this will be inviting to our guests who are smokers and will create a comfortable area to do so without disrupting our other guests.

All common elements are NON-SMOKING, this is outlined as the following: all land that is owned by Sunrise Village, walkways (decks, terraces, however you describe it in your booking), stairs and stairwells, parking area, driveway, and private balconies.

In the instance that someone is smoking outside the designated smoking area we have produced a 3-strike policy:
1st offence - warning, and letting the guest know where the designated smoking area is as well as letting the guest know that if a 2nd offence occurs, there will be a fine.
2nd offence - $50 fine to the guest
3rd offence - eviction with no refund

We enjoyed ourselves
We enjoyed the location and it was very clean and orderly when we arrived. We loved that it was right beside the beach and the little grocery store was nice to be able to walk across and grab things like eggs. It had everything we needed. The parking is great. We enjoyed the outdoor chairs. We made so many great memories! We are interested in renting from this property again just in a unit with a washer/dryer. I would suggest to highlight that it does not have a washer and dryer and maybe suggest how to overcome this problem. :) What I could find was quite a drive away from the condo. That was an over site on my part but with 3 kids on the beach for 8 nights that would have been detrimental to our stay if we did not have access to my parents condo’s laundry nearby. I literally didn’t sleep the first night because I stressed out about how we were going to handle laundry. I didn’t know that other units had a washer/dryer. One more slight complaint was that the unit smelled damp/stunk the whole time. The AC seemed to make everything damp at times. The cloth couch would have a damp feel to it and this would be after we had been out at museums most of the day.

The property location was great! So easy to get to the beach. The apartment was cute and clean. Well equipped with everything we needed. Communication, and check-in was all very easy. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

It was okay
This unit was a lot smaller than I thought! The bathroom was very hard to manage with 2 kids and 2 adults it was super tiny if you were on the toilet and someone opened the door it slammed your knees. The tv did not work in the bedroom. There was sand in the kids lower bunk we just washed bedding ourselves. It’s a cute condo but I don’t think my family and I will stay again in the future due to size, and even though it’s not the owners fault the people upstairs kept us up all night the last 4 nights in a row stomping around and having a good time till after midnight. So just know it’s not very sound proof. Other than that we were only there to sleep and really enjoyed our vacation!

Terrible
The property was dirty upon arrived had to cean before we could settle. Found bugs, trash in between beds, foid in cabinets and several broke items as part of condo (fan, headboard and faucet). Poor maintenance and upkeep. Management didn't act like any of it was a big deal. We actually left 2 days early because wasn't getting any better and management gave us us 15% back but wouldn't refund the days we didn't stay. From check in it was a nightmare.

Quaint and Great Location
We stayed for 10 days total for a baseball tournament and also to spend a few days at the beach. Easy location to get to and from and also around gulf shores. Across the street is a small grocery store, restaurant and ice cream! We frequented those places a lot. You need everything. Paper towels, cleaning supplies, laundry soap, toilet paper. Very little is provided. Bring your own beach towels, beach toys, body boards as there is not a community of items that are in the condo to use.

Great location…very dirty
The location was great; however, the condo was very filthy. The air filter was excessively full…the tub drain was full of hair…the floor just nasty…sand in the made bed…dryer vent overflowing. The ice maker is broken and made an annoyingly loud clicking noise. For the price I paid, the condo should have been in much better shape! I would like a refunded amount.

Great play close to the beach
We had a great time. It was great to just walk out to the beach. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the uncomfortable beds and we could have supplied more toilet paper and beach towels like other places. Other than that, we had a great, relaxing much needed vacation.

Great Beach Access
This condo was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The location was steps from the beach as well as popular restaurants. Check in was very simple. I can't speak to the ease of reaching the property manager because I didn't have to do that during our stay. Overall, this was a great condo and I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Mostly good, some concerns
Our property was close to the location we needed. It was mostly clean and appeared as it did in the photos. However, there was a lot of dust that accumulated in the air vents. Additionally, there was biological growth that was black in the shower. We called the property manager about a concern with water leaking out of one of the vents and did not receive a call back. The check-in process was simple. We’d likely stay again if they addressed the concerns above.

Stay away from this property
When we arrived our first flight up the stairs we tripped and broke our sandals due to uneven stairs. Then we got into our unit hungry and tired from traveling and decided to start the oven to make dinner. That led to the fire alarm going off because there was so much grease in and on the stove/oven it smoked out the room before we could even start our dinner. We decided instead that we needed some rest and were greeted by a bed with a large dip in the center and springs poking through our backs. The next morning we spent 4 hours cleaning dishes, cupboards, stove, oven, bedding, towels. Essentially the entire unit. Fire your maid! We then had a plumbing backup in the bathroom sink. We called the management company about the plumbing and bed. They sent someone to fix the plumbing and we are still waiting to hear from the owner (management company said they would contact them to get a new bed). It’s been 2 months, no word yet but don’t worry there’s a chiropractor on Hwy 59 - I got to meet him and ended up spending my time sleeping on the couch. I have pictures of your lovely mattresses (both main and second rooms) which show the torn, soiled (with blood and urine) and springs. We also have pictures of the uneven steps that we may send to the building inspector for safety issues. All in all- this unit is a prime example of why you should never ever ever rent through vrbo. Once they have your money you are not able to get any response for a comfortable stay.

Right on the beach
The place was great to stay right on the beach and across the street from waves convenient store. The only problem I had was the rental company did not send check in information. I drove to the actual place when they were supposed to be open and they weren’t. I even called the number and it said hours of operation when I was there and they were not there so I could not check in had to get a hotel which they did not reimburse me for other than that the place was good.

Nice little condo. The pool is tiny. Unit had washer and dryer which was nice! I love the location. Only downfall was I received the check in email right as we were pulling in and had to to turn around to get the code for the door.
