Romantic and relaxing cottage on a noisy creek

Great private and relaxing cottage outside Hayesville NC.: near Lake Chatuge, Hiawassee Ga., Helen Ga. Franklin NC and Murphy NC. Excellent hiking trails and waterfalls nearby. Cross the private bridge over the creek to find a cozy stone cottage with hot tub/spa, fire pit and grill. LP gas and firewood provided. Cross the footbridge to serenity point for a relaxing view of the creek.

Perfect Getaway
This was the perfect couple's cottage. The home was nestled away off a private road with plenty of privacy. There was a running creek that ran through the property which provided a beautiful backdrop, not to mention a calming sound. The cabin had a large kitchen with everything you need to fix your own meals. Large bathroom with shower and washer and dryer and a comfortable queen size bed. Outside there were plenty of options for keeping warm with a wood fire pit near the creek and a gas fire table on the deck. There was also a propane grill as well. The hot tub was easy to operate and there are no worries about bathing au naturel. 2 wineries are within 5 minutes driving distance and plenty of activities less than 20 minutes away. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Perfect stay
My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and we loved every minute of it. It is a mountain paradise. The cottage is perfect for two people and is so private. We will return here every chance we get. The creek is amazing, i could spend all day just wondering around out there. All I can say is thanks for letting us stay in such an amazing place.

Perfection!
If you're looking for a secluded, peaceful, relaxing get-away, this is the perfect spot. I wanted a weekend to disconnect from my busy life, and that's exactly what I got. This cottage is tucked away in the woods with only the sounds of the babbling creek and nature around you. We greatly enjoyed the firepit and hot tub daily. We also enjoyed just relaxing on the benches at the creekfront. The cottage was extremely clean and the hosts provided all we needed for the weekend. They also added some special touches for our anniversary. We would definitely stay again!

Paradise
Very clean and well kept property. My wife and I relaxed on the deck around the grill and hot tub. Also hung out around the fire pit next to the fast moving creek. Plenty of things to do in the area if you’re adventurous. Most relaxing 3 days in a long time.

A little piece of God's glory
This property was very clean and welcoming. The creek was so peaceful to look at and listen to. The owners have their guests taken care of in every way. All you need to arrive with is food and clothing. It is only about a 12min drive to get groceries or eat out. The owners went beyond expected by having us a "Happy Anniversary" welcome flag by the cottage entrance as well as a card on the table for our wedding anniversary. This would certainly be a home I would love to stay at again. Thanks Bob & Kathy for allowing others to enjoy what you have been blessed with.

Beautiful amazing place!
We just got back from our relaxing weekend at the cottage! I could sit in that porch or in the hot tub for hours. Hearing the creek is so relaxing. The owners made it so easy. Cottage was so clean plus had everything you could imagine for a getaway. We enjoyed the list of local places to eat and visit they recommended. We can’t wait to go back!

Heaven on Earth
Our second stay here and it was just as magical and wonderful as the first! It was chilly so we hung out around the firepit by the creek and in front of the fireplace. The cottage and stream are good for the soul. I love that the owners have all the kitchen essentials available so we never had to leave.

One of the best
Probably the most inviting property I've ever had the pleasure of renting. I love the Shooting Creek area and this is by far the best place to rent for solo/couples. If you want to stay at a cozy mountain cabin, this is the place you're looking for.

Birthday Getaway
This was the cutest little cottage in a secluded area not far from town. The little stone cottage was even better than the pictures showed. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and sitting by and listening to the noisy creek. We have already recommended this listing to friends and family who may be traveling to the area. We plan to visit again.

Magical Cottage
This was our first time and we will return. So clean, so orderly and well stocked. Sitting outside by the creek, just listening to its relaxing sound and all the little things that we noticed every time we were outside! The owners are very pleasant and thoughtful. It was a great way to celebrate our special dates! We certainly recommend this little hidden heaven. God bless.

Heaven on Earth
Peaceful, tranquil, serene, absolutely breathtaking. I hesitate to go into a lot of detail because I don’t want too many others to find out about the Sone Cottage. The facility and amenities were phenomenal, and the communication with the hosts was prompt and responsive. It is the place to go for a couples remote retreat. Can’t say enough about it.

We had a marvelous time! The cottage was perfect and very well stocked with every thing we needed! We loved using both of the firepits.The hot tub was the perfect way to finish our day after visiting several wineries in the area. We highly recommend this property.

Our time at the stone cottage was absolutely wonderful! The place is more beautiful than the pictures posted. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed the two fire pits and the hot tub. If you like wine there are several nice wineries near by. Our favorite was Living Water, but we enjoyed all of them. We will definitely be back!
