"The owner kept in touch giving accurate and detailed instructions on entering and had even put the heating on for us so that it was warm for my epderly mother. In brief. "We have stayed at these premises a number of times previously and have to say nothing has changed, still a lovely well set out cottage right in the centre of Wooler.Very clean and tidy, with everything you need for a short break or a longer stay. The host is very helpful and communicates well.If you book the cottage be sure to book the Italian in Wooler, it’s called Milan and it is very good, the best bit is it’s less than a 2 minute walk from the cottage!"

"The location of the house is perfect for visiting various beaches & historic towns, nothing was too far. The house is very well equipped and felt very cosy but with plenty of space, especially with our 2 golden retriever dogs. They also loved the garden, with lots of room to run around. We can definitely see ourselves returning here sometime in the future."

"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

"The property itself was incredibly quiet and on one side of a cobbled stable area. Every morning and evening, the owner's three elderly horses were led to and from the nearby field and we could often see the horse looking over his stable door from our bedroom window - the pony and Shetland pony weren't tall enough to look over!
