"We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn."

"Our room was clean, warm and well-lit. We had selected a superior twin, but the view from the room was dreadful ! We were next to the boiler and there was ducting all over, rubbish and the exterior of the building at the back is very shabby. Just to note - there are no usb sockets in the room, so you need to bring your own adapter. There is also no phone - I suppose because everyone has their own these days. "Great location for walking to Cowes centre and for the chain ferry to East Cowes. Comfortable room although very hot and impossible to turn the one radiator (in bedroom) off. Decent breakfast although some of the cooked items could have been hotter. Overall I would recommend and be happy to stay again. "

"Used this on a recent business trip while working at Southampton General Hospital which was close by. Lovely hotel, great evening meal, comfortable and peaceful room. Excellent surroundings too. Lovely."

"Logistically superb - lots of walks, beach, at low tide you can go rock pooling etc. Bus stop right outside - which when the weather isn't great is a useful option to get around. There are small bus routes that loop certain areas - and you get a running commentary so worth jumping on. Hotel is fabulous - views are amazing, food is delicious, and good value, room were exceptional (you must like the sound of the sea) and the staff are kind, informative and go above and beyond. "
