"We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside. The owner was super friendly, very communicative and attentive. Thank you again! "

"The hotel was lovely. Breakfast was great. Unfortunately on booking we didnt look at opening times. We booked to stay on a Monday. The hotel takes bed & breakfast bookings but the bar & restaurant isnt open on Mondays. So we had to drive 15 minutes to another village for food. Not what we realy wanted to do, but the luckily the other pub served food. It only says on opening time that the bar & restaurant is closed Mondays. It needs to more clearer on website as why would we look at...

"Toooooo hot in the room. No A/C available; only an old fan moving the hot air. Difficult to breathe. Very very little room, without table and chair to work (in my case) or to seat in a place different to the bed. I ask in reception to change my room; nothing else available. They took me a table and 1 chair, so I couldn't move in the room. Weak wi-fi line "

"This was probably the weirdest hotel experience in my life. The huge manor has been converted to a hotel but has been neglected recently (including a time housing asylum seekers - Google it). The time around 10 of the 100+ rooms are being used so you “rattle around” especially when you’re the only guests!! The hotel needs investment but it has so much potential and you can imagine it being a thriving hotel in the past. Imagine Covid and only a few rooms allowed to open. We knew there were no...
