"A great place to stay with a lively small bar in the lobby. Livell but not disturbing to the guest. Matter of fact I didn’t hear anything coming from cool jazz night musician playing. They end early. I would absolutely stay here as opposed to a large chain hotel. Great plants in the sunroom!"

"The hotel has no official parking. They direct you to a public parking garage that charges over $20 to park in. Insane that a hotel charging close to $300 for a room doesn’t have their own parking. The room was bland, absolutely cookie cutter and not well kept. Multiple metal fixtures had staining (possibly rust?). Wooden furniture was breaking down in some places. The “filtered water” they advertise tasted exactly the same as the tap water in the bathroom. You could have gotten a similar...

"Charming property with delightful rooms. Victorian decor and old world charm. Staff was friendly. No elevator but stairs to second floor were manageable. Beautiful view from 3 sides in the Garden room. Location was convenient to walk to the falls. Bright dining room. Had an excellent dinner and continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again."

"This is one of those local places that offered exactly what I needed for a fantastic price. In fact, the standard king size bed was a wonderful plus for me. The room was comfortable, welcoming and perfect. The staff member I spoke to the most was just so helpful, friendly and welcoming. "this place is interesting :) we never gid camping or glamping, so this was different for us. Not much to do on the property except for firepit and drinking. They do provide everything for those things, and plenty. The tents themselves are pretty cool. Yes, you do have occasional mosquito or spider in your tent and on you, but overall, the nets do provide a lot of protection from the elements. "Front desk staff was nice but not conversational. Bar food took over 45 minutes only to find out cook was missing in action. Room not maintained well: Buttons missing from A/C, ironing board broken & bathroom door sticks. No mirror in bedroom, no full length mirror & bathroom window needs a shade since it lets light into the bedroom. We never received housekeeping service one of the two nights we were there. This hotel has a brand new manager so hopefully they will improve the guest experience."

I meet a few of the family members and they were friendly, helpful and a great to talk to. There are 2 historic homes beside each other in a quiet neighborhood.
