"Unique, modern-historic, safe, convenient, and well-appointed inn. I’ve stayed here in two separate occasions and can’t wait for my next trip. My son plays lax at Cortland and this is my go-to accommodation. Staying at Argos makes the 30 minute drive to Cortland worth it.
Lastly, there are several places to sit, read a book, play a game, or sip a craft cocktail right on site. Lovely!"

"As always, enjoyed our stay here. There was some trouble with the lighting in the bathroom after some repairs, and we were offered a different room, but decided to stay in the room we had selected. As usual, breakfasts were delicious, and the desserts were wonderful . It is always a pleasure to stay here, and the location is perfect for forays into downtown."

"Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room had a very strong smell of whatever air freshener they use to cover odors. The windows don’t open, so I couldn’t even air it out. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the shower were almost completely empty. I guess they didn’t check any of them. Parking is a bit of a headache and inconvenience. You have to have your ticket validated every time you leave. Coffee machine in lobby was broken. That was the biggest downfall for me. Walking...

"Staff yelled at me for using a coffee mug at breakfast instead of. Plastic when they had coffee mugs right there. We only had two towels and 1/2 roll tp on day 1. I called to ask for towel and tp she said you can come down and get them!!!! Wow. "

"DO NOT GO if you don't like bugs in your hotel room! So many bugs in my 2 day stay inside the hotel room. Beetles, stink bugs (which are quite large) and carpenter ants. I was absolutely disgusted. The lady who runs the place is very unprofessional regarding the condition of the room, claiming that a dirty room with bugs is to be expected in upstate, but I have travelled quite a lot upstate and this is the first such interaction to this extent. Had to call the maintenance guys 3 times to get rid...

"We took the kids for the weekend and it was a little get-a-way. We didn't have to leave the property, everything is right there. The water park was great. The water was actually warm. The hot tub was amazing. The outdoor pool was too cold to get into for me. The kids got in. There's not a lot of vegan options onsite, but it's manageable. Everything costs extra thought so be prepared to pay for arcade, water park fee etc."

"We never set foot in the place unfortunately. We got to the property after dark and it was unlit exterior
The door was not programmed as promised and we could not get in. The owner didn’t respond to our or the property management company’s many communications for two days so we had to stay at a run down hotel which was all we could get at 9:30 on a Friday night in the middle of nowhere
A week later the owner still hadn’t responded or apologized for our family’s considerable inconvenience...

The door hardware was very loose and I’m sure the room I was in could be broken into very easily. The tv didn’t work properly. The parking area was in dire need of repair.
