"This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we couldn’t have had a better stay. We could watch the ocean while reading books on the deck and hop across to the beach easily. We generally hit the beach three times a day (morning, mid-morning, and evening) and the house’s central location gave us time to explore (we hit the waterpark, miniature golfed, did go karts, surfed the sand dunes and kayaked Alligator river). Our hosts were responsive and kind, but otherwise we stayed out of the way. ...

"Had a wonderful time. Large dining/living area great for all of our guests. The pool was lovely. Property was clean except for very dirty baseboards, especially on the stairs. We knew the property was on the main road and beach access was much easier on Balchen St, rather than cutting through to Hawks St."

"This house was great for our family. Hosts were helpful with pre-stocking options for groceries as I didn't want to have to worry about that when I first got in. The location is great . And close to many stores and local restaurants. I would only recommend that you get a golf cart if you have young kids (6 and below) because while the beach isn't that far -kids come with a lot of stuff so managing all of the things and the distance to the beach maybe challenging without a golf cart."

"This was our first time at this house. The house was great. Plenty of room for everyone. It was a short walk to the beach as well. We had an issue with the ice maker but it was quickly remedied by our Maintenance Manager Robert. This was our first stress free vacation we’ve had over the last 6 years. Thank you!!"

"Spiders everywhere inside and out. Couldn’t even walk up to the front door without running into them. Roaches throughout the house. AC on lower level wouldn’t work. Stairs going down from the main floor were so slippery that my dog fell down a couple of times. I wouldn’t even put my dog in the outside shower it was so dirty. Half the outlets in the bathroom didn’t work. When AC ran on the main floor it created a lake in the driveway. I don’t think the owner should be able to rent this property...
