Alquiler de vacaciones casa rural Lakeside

La cabaña está en Lac Sinclair, a aproximadamente 1 hora del centro de Ottawa. 5 habitaciones disponibles, playa de arena, viene con el uso de una canoa, bote de remos y kayak, pozo de fuego junto al lago, barbacoa en el porche para que no haya insectos para la cena, estufa de leña en el sótano junto con una mesa de billar, cocina Tiene estufa eléctrica, lavaplatos y doble fregadero, café Keurig y una máquina de goteo y un refrigerador, (segundo refrigerador en el porche). La mesa del comedor tiene capacidad para 10 personas muy cómodamente y hemos tenido 14 o más personas sin que se golpeen demasiados codos. Hay 1. 5 baños, lo siento, una ducha pero no bañera (aunque hay un lago ...), lavadora y secadora en el baño del sótano. Está en un pozo, por lo que el agua es muy potable sin tener que preocuparse por hervir. Es un lugar de cuatro estaciones, por lo que también está abierto en invierno si desea alquilarlo más adelante en el año. El precio es de 1500 $ / semana, pero llámeme y podemos discutirlo ya que este es el primer año que lo estoy alquilando. Estoy pidiendo un depósito de limpieza / daños retornables de $ 500. Lo recuperará siempre que no haya daños, se requiera una limpieza indebida o infracciones de ruido / multas. Por supuesto, hay otros en el lago, por lo que le pido que considere a mis vecinos y no cree molestias después de las horas. También quiero mantener el lugar libre de humo, hay un área para caminar que está cubierta para que los fumadores no sufran demasiado incluso bajo la lluvia ... Navidad / Año Nuevo y Acción de Gracias Probablemente tenga tarifas especiales, y por especial quiero decir más alto. Puede haber algunos extras también, como la leña costará 200 $ por cordón si usa mucho para fogatas.
¿Qué más puedo decir por ahora? Hay espacio para instalar una red de bádminton, y herraduras o petanca si lo prefiere (tiene que traer sus propias pelotas o zapatos), y un área de buen tamaño para estacionar si es necesario. Agregué bolas de bocci y juegos de crocket este año. El municipio tiene una nueva ordenanza que prohíbe el uso de sus propios barcos. Espero que sea igual en cualquier lugar de Quebec, si no ahora, pronto. Lo hacen para proteger la calidad de los lagos de las especies invasoras.
Para el invierno, un poco de una colina para trineos si quieres. El lago se congela al final de la temporada para practicar raquetas de nieve y esquí de fondo. Bonita ubicación tranquila.
TV satélite recientemente agregada.

About cottage
The atmosphere is good but neghbour worse we played music 3 min outside lady came and threatened us and the owner is great very helpful overall Compared to other places I wouldn’t go there any more

Quiet lake
This was a fantastic property, with enough room to accommodate an entire family and more. Fantastic fully equipped kitchen, screened in deck overlooking the lake with a bbq, and a hot tub outside overlooking the lake. Surprisingly we had no mosquitoes which meant sitting outside til dark was doable and pleasant. The pictures are accurate with the exception of the kitchen being way better than expected and the space being very large for a cottage. The host met us 30 mins away and drove in w us as there is no cell signal. Very responsive and pleasant to communicate with.

Pleine nature
Donald est une personne accueillante, il aide ces clients de les orienter, il répond au question donc bonne information, le chalet est tres vaste bordé de nature, inconvénient pas de réseau sans fil mais le Wi-Fi est bon, les moustiquaire de la galerie a réparer plein de trous les moustiques rentre (pas étanche) je lui suggère fortement de réparer les moustiquaires, et si il ajoute un ou deux kayak fera toute une déficience, en grand on a passé un séjours confortable même qu'on a que des jours de pluie dans la plupart du temps mais on est bien occupés a l'intérieur merci donald

Great week!
The communication from Donald was excellent. He replied quickly to all inquiries. Accessing the cottage was easy. He provided thorough directions (pictures and words) to aid you with getting there. The directions to get into the cottage were very clear. The inside of the cottage had anything that you would need. The kitchen was fully stocked (pots, pans, coffee maker, microwave, two fridges, pizza trays, salad spinner etc), with a ton of dishes to last three meals for 6 people. The kitchen table was amazing. It can seat a lot of people for eating, card playing, games etc. The beds were comfortable with many rooms for guests to spread out. The screen in porch had a nice view of the lake and was a bonus for BBQing, playing cards, having happy hour and not getting eaten alive by the mosquitoes and watching the rain storms!! There was plenty of grass space to play games (Bocci, Corn Hole (we brought our own) and for the dog to run around. Access to the water was easy. The dock is long and gives plenty of room to attach floating tubes for reading and lounging, two kayaks, paddle boat and water mat, that the children loved. It was a great quiet week away, with lots of relaxation. We would recommend this cottage for others to rent.

Very Happy!
Donald has everything you would want in a cottage rental for your family and some! We enjoyed the screened-in porch where we enjoyed all our meals, a kayak, canoes, and a paddle boat for water activities, a hot tub to relax, and an enclosed fire pit. He thought of life jackets for all ages, pots, pans, cutlery, and even spices, tea and coffee. We were very pleased with our stay.

Overall I would give 3.5 for this property. The place could use more cleaning and decluttering. However the host was very nice and accommodating for anything we needed. He helped us bring in our stuff. The gazebo off the kitchen is certainly a big plus, we were able to eat and hang out there even when in rainy days and we still had a nice view of the lake. There are tons of movies to watch and even a satellite dish was available downstairs. It was very quiet place to relax and reflect on. Thank you Donald we would go back another for sure.

The cottage itself was perfect Lots of bedrooms .the screened porch awesome. The property itself would look a lot better if was cleaned up. As you drive in the property does not present well with old rusted van and piles of stuff under tarps , but go Into The front door and forget what you just saw as the view of lake is great. The kitchen is not organized and there is too much stuff. The lake for little ones at beach area is fine however for the older ones there is “muck” from end of dock and being in a bay the water is shallow. The owner has done everything he can to compensate for this : swim doc, Lilly pad kayak canoe etc. The lake is large once you leave the bay the cottage is in.For us, we didn’t mind the bay as quiet and away from boat traffic and we go out on our tubes to float around. I recommend the owner do a deep clean of the inside , we rented for 4 weeks so I cleaned some windows and fridge to be more in keeping with my personal standard .. But the owner does not charge a cleaning fee and it is expected that previous renter leave it clean.Thus his rental price is fair. We have rented many cottages over the years and I give this one a 7/10 as the positives out weigh the negatives

We spent a great time with my family, Donald the owner was very nice and helpful, he waited for us in Wakefield and guide us to there. It was clean and tidy, many rooms and a lot of games. We recommend it to anyone want to enjoy quality time with family or friends!

Everything was great. 2 dogs loved it. There was lots to do. Really enjoyed the covered patio with the BBQ. Lake is nice, pretty booming. Saw a turtle, some frogs, great for the fam. Tons of room. The owner is easy going, responsive, informative, polite... No complaints.

No complaints about our stay here. Donald’s place has that cottage/ homey feel and is equipped with everything you need for your stay. It is so spacious and could comfortably sleep up to about 15 people if some are comfy on couches. Donald was super responsive and was open to us staying another night which was awesome. Thank you for opening your space to us and we hope to come again :)

Beyond FIVE STARS!
The cottage itself is located on the beautiful Sinclair Lake. While it was too cold to swim the serenity of the the lake and woods surrounding this cottage was spectacular. Donald, the host took time out of his schedule to meet us at another location to quide us to the cottage. Once there explained everything to us. It is quite large with 5 bedrooms. If you are looking for a "staged" magazine cottage this is not for you. If however you are looking for a home that feels lived in then this is it. What you will get are state of the art appliances, and every utensil you will need to cook your meals. Entertainment?? A collection of DVDS, BOOKS, along with a pool table in the basement. Something for everyone. My family and I were so comfortable we didnt want to leave. On that note although checkout is listed at 11 Donald was so gracious to invite us to stay for as long as we wished for that day. Truly a host beyond any other. If you are looking for a spot that feels like a home away from home in a wonderful location and a host that is respectful and easy to communicate with then look no further than this cottage in La Peche. I can't wait to go back!

Great week
Our family had a great week at Donald's cottage. There was a lot of space for our family to relax and enjoy our vacation. My teens had a great week of fishing from the dock and from the boat. The cottage had everything you could need and more. Don was great to deal with.

Great vacation
We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The house is spacious, clean, well-equipped, and had plenty of room for our family of 5 + dogs. Really loved the kitchen / dining area; the dishwasher was a big help. It is very dog-friendly, and we appreciated the extra touches like the crate and toys. The beach , docks and the lily pad are great, and the water is clean, great for swimming and playing with the dogs. The screened veranda was a lovely touch, and we had bug-free, enjoyable evenings on it. The host, Donald, is friendly, welcoming and responsive. We really enjoyed our time at the cottage and highly recommend it!

Amazing, recommend to all!
Where to begin, this was one of the nicest most relaxing cottages we have had the pleasure of staying at. The cottage itself is extensive, with multiple rooms, a beautiful kitchen and a picture perfect screened in porch overlooking the water. There were many special touches inside the cottage be it decor multiple entertain options or beautiful plants that really showed how much Donald cares about his guests. The extended dock lily pad and beautiful water were everything we could have asked for and more. It was very quiet and private, just the loons and crickets as your backdrop Donald went out of his way to show us all the necessary information and procedures regarding household items and really made us feel welcome. This will be a new staple in vacation getaways for sure. Looking forward to returning in the winter and experiencing a winter wonderland.

My family and me hard a great time at this place. Super spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, little terrace with mosquito screen so you can enjoy it any time of there day without being bother by then. Great place to relax
This property is for you if you’re looking for a quaint clean cottage to kick back and enjoy time by a lake! The lake is really clean and this property is a little off to the side so barely any motor véhicules which is very peaceful. The cottage itself has all the amenities you need and the kitchen is full of tools to prep nice meals if that’s your style. New TVs were added for rainy days ! We got to watch some playoff hockey at night was a bonus ;) The covered porch is the feature that sells this place. We spent most of our time in the evening there talking and enjoying the lake breeze! It’s such a great bonus to enjoy rainy days. I got back year after year for it ! It was our 4th visit to Donald’s cottage and you can tell that he takes pride in making it an enjoyable experience ! He keeps improving the amenities and it’s awesome .. over the years he’s added wifi TVs and this year a water lily pad where we spent lots of time on this summer ! I recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from the city .. it’s only 1h20 max from downtown Ottawa.. a great place for people of all ages ! Merci !
