Charming Lake Lure Studio at Rumbling Bald Resort!

Newly renovated and fully appointed mountain retreat with full access to Rumbling Bald! Rumbling Bald is a beautiful, complete resort experience. The resort boasts golf courses, restaurants, tennis, gym, indoor/outdoor pools, kayaking, and much more! Take a drive to the historic town of Lake Lure and to Chimney Rock Park. Hiking, zip lining and lots of fun and exciting adventures await. Or, if you prefer, find a spot on the patio and enjoy the serene quiet and beauty of our mountain retreat!

This unit is a large studio apartment featuring a king size bed and a convertible sofa for additional guests. The bathroom is newly updated to feature a walk-in, ceramic tile shower. This is also one of the few Apple Villa units to feature a washer/dryer in the unit. There is a smart TV the fireplace connected to our blazing fast, 5G internet service. The kitchen features granite countertops, an apartment sized, four burner range with oven, a dishwasher, a full sized fridge, and ample counter and storage space for a long term stay. We provide all you need for making meals in the unit, including pots and pans, dishware and baking pans.

This studio features a full kitchen with granite countertops and updated appliances, an in-suite washer/dryer combo and a walk-in shower! The unit also features a cozy electric fireplace to warm up cool mountain nights. Enjoy the spacious patio overlooking the lovely woods, with comfortable sectional seating for causal conversations, reading or relaxing and a bar-height table for relaxed meals/drinks.

We are less than a five minute drive to Rumbling Bald and you have complete access to all it has to offer! Just let me know if you would like guests passes for the resort.

Welcome to Rumbling Bald Resort! Rumbling Bald is a beautiful, complete resort experience located on the north shore of Lake Lure. The resort boasts two golf courses, three restaurants, newly resurfaced tennis courts, a full workout center, indoor and outdoor pools, kayaking, boating and so much more! Our guests have full access to all of the resort's amenities. From Rumbling Bald, take a twenty minute scenic, mountain drive to the historic town of Lake Lure and to Chimney Rock State Park. Hiking trails, zip lining and all sorts of fun and exciting adventures await. Or, if you prefer, find a spot on the patio and enjoy the serene quiet and beauty of our mountain retreat.

Rumbling Bald Resort is about one mile from our unit. The town of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Park are only a few miles but a 15 to 20 minute drive away.

Lovely
We have been staying at Apple Valley Villas for 11+ years and we have stayed in about 9 different units. This one is by far my favorite and mainly because of the kitchen. We cook breakfast and an afternoon meal and having a full-sized refrigerator, a stove, and an oven was great. This unit also has a washer and dryer, as stated in the description which is wonderful when you have wet bathing suits and towels coming from the lake. The unit is well decorated but not overly crowded with Knick knacks. The outdoor patio area is so comfortable and looking out over the wooded area lets you forget you are near a road. Peaceful!

Lesley’s Place
Lesley’s Place was perfect for our stay. Debating a “one room studio” I almost booked something larger. But it provided everything we needed (except I couldn’t find any potholders and that may have just been me). I do not think I have ever stayed in a VRBO that offered such an abundance of towels! If we find ourselves in Lake Lure again, we will stay here again.

Loved Lake Lure
Our host Lesley was great and check in was very smooth. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of activities to do like hiking and golf right on the resort. Also has a nice wellness area for working out, swimming and spa. Very close to the lake. Just a great couple days and would definitely stay here again.

Very lovely place!!!
Oh wow. Lake lure is a must see place. And this studio place had everything we needed. From fully stocked kitchen to spacious bathroom. Bed really comfortable. Back patio was our favorite place. Nicely furnished and so peaceful!!! Everything was great. Lesley was so easy to communicate. We will definitely be returning to this place again. Thank you and keep up the good work!!!
