You will need water shoes as its very rocky and the sand can get very hot. "This cottage is perfect for a mini getaway. We enjoyed the welcome gift and the small touches. The indoor outdoor games were fun, the record player added a nice touch. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped to cook our meals in. It helped to have the cooking essentials (oils, spices and seasonings already in the cupboard). "We had some problems with ants on kitchen surfaces. After we scrubbed everything down, no longer a problem so there must have been some residue left on surface. Location excellent for our birding activities. Lake is gorgeous."
