"I would say this property is Unique!!! There is no Front Desk;; check in is a code for the main door and coded key lock box with a key to your room. Checkout is the same. Everything is done via email and phone. What makes this place Great is the Restaurant attached to the Inn. Food is Amazing and the service is Awesome as well!!! The are owned by separate entities. There are only 6 rooms which makes it nice as well and located walking distance to downtown Boothbay Harbor. The only downfall is...

"Steve is very warm and friendly. Morning conversation with other guests over banana bread and coffee was delightful. Unfortunately during our visit heavy rain prevented us from walking the grounds but looking out the window we thought we must come back on a Sunday day and enjoy the garden and fire pit. "

"Stay two nights on the way to Acadia, nice comfortable room quiet loved the kitchen and larger room everyone was friendly let us have a late checkout so we could work. Nice indoor heated pool as well. "

"THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS LOVELY. WE LOVED SITTING ON OUR PRIVATE PORCH AND WATCHING THE TIDE COME IN AND GO OUT. WATCHING THE LOBSTER FISHERMEN COME IN FOR THE BAIT, SEEING WILD LIFE, DEER AN EAGLE AND A CHIPPY. BOB MADE THE MOST DELICIOUS BREAKFAST. THE SUNSETS WERE BEAUTIFUL. WE HOPE TO GO BACK NEXT YEAR AND STAY LONGER."
