NEWLY RENOVATED 2022!

Welcome to the Beach! Our townhome is located in the gated Bahia de Matagorda community, just 7 miles from the town of Matagorda, TX. Enjoy the community pool, catch & release fishing and crabbing in the lagoon, or take a stroll over the Dunes and you’ll be on the beach!

This home is 1300 sq. ft and sleeps 8 comfortably. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with king size bed and one with a queen size bed. The downstairs bathroom has a gorgeous walk in shower. The living area is comfortable with Dish satellite channels on a roku Hisense smart TV for streaming services. WiFi is available. The king bedroom and loft bedroom have smart TVs for use with Netflix/prime/Hulu and other streaming services. Check out the white cabinet in the living room for tons of options for family game night. Grab a book from one of the bedrooms and relax on the deck. The kitchen is well appointed with all the dishes, flatware, and cookware you will need. Microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, and dishwasher are all available for your use. Dining area has seating for 6 and the eat-in bar accommodates 3. Upstairs you will find a loft bedroom with two twin beds and a full size bed, as well as another full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Check out the amazing unobstructed ocean views from the loft balcony or the large deck. A charcoal grill is provided and may only be used on the ground level.

All renters must be at least 25 years old. No smoking or vaping in or outside the house or in any of the community areas. Coin laundry and ice machine are located on the pool island. No pets. No events.

Updated Dune Condo
This place is more up to date than other condos in this little neighborhood. It’s about as close as you can get to the beach here. The back of home faces the dunes and ocean so you have unobstructed views. It’s a nice place to stay. Love that you have access to the pool.

What I liked the place was very nice, the location to the beach was a 10 min walk. The walk was up & down sand dunes, not for little kids. The pool was also alot of fun. What I didn't like I had to drive to the pool to do my laundry. I walked the first time, not a good idea. Also they didn't want us to take any of their towel to the beach. Why have a beach front place & not have beach towels?

Our stay at this condo was amazing. The layout is perfect and the owner has thought of everything. Our family had a great time staying at this wonderful property in Matagorda. This was our second stay and we will be booking again.

Relaxing beautiful place
The home, pool and location was great. We enjoyed time away without the congestion of the larger cities. The only problem was the mosquitoes on the way to the beach. They were vicious and it was hard to get to the beach without driving. You can drive on the beach with a permit but without 4 wheel drive you cannot go too far!

Great location at the beach
We loved our stay at this Matagorda beach condo. We picked the area because we liked that it was more of a remote beach that was not over commercialized. We were there in March and pretty much had the beach to ourselves. This condo is beachfront with great views and also very close to the walking path to the beach. The owners gave us a recommendation for a fishing charter and also responded quickly when I had a question. I would highly recommend this condo for a relaxing stay at the beach.

We had a great spring break stay. Short walk from the beach.
Great beach house. Short walk from the beach. Clean and has the essentials. Only thing lacking would be on outdoor shower. We used the laundry mat and it worked great. It is a little bit out from major grocery stores so you might want to do your shopping on the way in if you want to cook. Overall good experience.

Fabulous Vacation Spot!
We so needed to “get away” from the hustle and bustle our lives were in…and we heard about the Dunes from our neighbors. They raved about it so much we decided to try it. And we’re so glad we did! Linsey was quick to answer our questions and concerns which is a huge relief! The place was “Beachly” decorated, clean, all the elements you would need to cook, bathe, rest in comfort (sofa/lounge chair, bed), AC to keep cool, games to play, pool (we ran out of time to enjoy). Beautiful decks to sit and relax in, watching/listening to the waves crash on the shore! The place is strategically placed so you can enjoy sunrise to sunsets everyday! Close to beach, fishing piers, harbor to catch a guided fishing tour (and we caught our quota, having to release many after our catch)! Just everything you’d ever want for a vacation! All I can say is Thank You Linsey for the time of our life!

Faced the beach, quiet and water was just over the dunes. Updated, cute, fresh and cozy place. Kitchen stocked w every possible gadget you could need. Quick response from owner when I had questions. Just know there are mosquitoes but that’s typical for beaches. Would rent from this owner again

Perfect for Two Families
Condo is updated and furnished with comfortable furniture. Two bedrooms downstairs with the loft for the kids made it a perfect setup for two families to stay together. This condo is located right next to the path leading to the beach and a very short walk from the pool. Having an outside area equipped with a shower and hose made sand rinsing extremely convenient and provided an area for storing dirty items. I would 100% recommend renting this unit. Lots of memories made on our trip.
