"Palais Royale is well placed for a stay in the Blue Mountains. Katoomba main street with a good choice of shops and restaurants / cafes is a short walk away ( 3 minutes). The hotel itself is an historic building in the town. It has lots of original features . Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The en suite has a bath / shower in the style of the original fittings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant wasnt open in the evening at our time if stay so we ate out in the town at one...

"Right next to the center of town! Very easy to drive around and get to hikes and trails. The hotel was nice for what we needed and allowed us to stay 2 nights for our hiking adventures. "

The only thing the after hours check instructions were a bit unclear to where rooms are and we had to explore whole property to find room. Some general room number signs (ie 25-35 that way) would help"

"I booked the Clarendon because we were attending a birthday nearby and this was the closest to the location and as it happened, we were next door! So for us it was perfect as we could just walk to the party and not worry about taxis or ubers, it was also just the one night. The Motel itself is a little run down and it looks like there's work being done but also not sure when the work started or likely to finish. The room was comfortable, we had two queen beds in our room and the bedding was...

"My room was clean and neat. The manager was very friendly and kind. The hostel was quiet and fairly peaceful. Some things were overlooked like bathroom cleanliness and lack of toilet paper. But otherwise the location was perfect and it suited my needs"
