Wonderful House!
We had a great time at this house! The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, etc. so that we could cook dinner there both nights. The view is absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for 2 families and the kids loved the bunk room! Jamie was great to work with and was quick to respond to my messages. It is conveniently located by the ski slopes so it was easy for us to ski for the day. We are already discussing staying here again next year!

Perfect Wintergeen restreat
The view from the house is special - we loved hearing the sounds of crickets and birds in the evenings and watching sunrise. The house was comfortable and practical - appreciated having lots of hooks to hang towels and bags, The kids room with 4 beds and a sofa was perfect for our gang. We had a great stay. And owner was very responsive and easy to work with.

The house was perfect for our stay, the rooms were impeccable and cute. Within driving distance to some great hikes. Jamie was very responsive flexible and kind. Highly recommend.

Family trip
The home is in a good location, has a well-stocked kitchen full of pots,pans, spice and things you might have forgotten not to mention plenty of linens and a cliset full of family games and puzzles and stacks of firewood waiting for your visit. Everyone had a great time and the bunkroim was a huge hit with the grandkids! I can't say enough about how refeeahing the communication was with the owner, always quick to respond and accommodating. The family is definitely looking forward to our next trip. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heavne on earth with us.

Great stay
We really enjoyed our stay. We had 2 adult couples so the property was perfect for each couple to have privacy & our own bathroom. There was plenty of seating. The stack of firewood outside was great for the chilly evenings. The property was in a convenient location for our winery stops. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Nicely done cabin. Beautiful view!
The cabin is nicely done,inside and out. There is a 3/4 wrap around deck with a nice sized deck in the back accessible from sliding glass doors and a really nice view of the mountains. The inside is clean and bright with a working fireplace and plenty of seasoned firewood stacked near the house, ready to burn. There were plenty of board games and a hook and ring game we all played a lot because it is right in between the kitchen and den. There were six of us,two grandparents,two parents,and two grandchildren. No one paid much attention to their phones other than taking pictures and recording videos of the family fun. We visited near by Grand Caverns,a brewery,and an orchard/festival. I WOULD rent this space again!

We booked last minute and were very happy with the home. Our 3 sons had their own rooms, plus we took advantage of the fireplace with cooler temps at night even though it was Aug.

Wonderful People
We had such an amazing time in this mountain home! The best part was the kindness of the owners. We had a flat tire late on the last day and asked for a one day extension. Within minutes, the owners replied with a yes. It was a soothing balm when things were a bit crappy with the car. We really appreciated it!

Easy check in, very clean, and well stocked! Exactly as the listing described, but better :). Super close and walkable to great hiking. We came to hike in the off season over spring break and had a blast with our two kids ages 9 and 6. Amazing views from the house on a great deck. Nice variety of bedrooms and living space.

Great Mountain Stay
We had a great time at the cabin. Easy location to Wintergreen Resort and BEAUTIFUL view. The house had everything needed for a weekend get away. The rooms and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed cooking meals, crackling fires, and gorgeous sun rise views from the living room. Owner communication was A+! Highly recommend!

Spectacular!
Our family stayed in this beautiful house for our Christmas holiday. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. We regularly book VRBO houses for Christmas and this one had it all! We enjoyed that they thought of everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The decor inside was beautiful, the furnishings comfortable, the fireplace cozy and wood ready to be lit, and the sunrise dreamy! Jamie, thank you for sharing this home with our family and for being an extraordinarily gracious host. This was the getaway our family needed. Our 5 year old grandson said “I love our vacation house”.

Beautiful view!
The view from this house can’t be beat — and the sunrises are the best we’ve ever seen!! House is comfy and decorated really cute! Our only complaint is that there wasn’t any place to put our clothes in the master bedroom (closet is locked for owner) and the armoire is full of towels and sheets. We loved the plentiful supply of fire wood and cozy blankets! The owner was super responsive!

Beautiful Views
We spent 4 nights at this wonderful home during our children's fall break from school. The house is tastefully decorated and was a perfect size for our family of 4. The views from both decks are amazing (much better than the photos suggest) and can been seen from the living areas as well as 2 of the upstairs bedrooms. We found the home to be well appointed with everything we needed while there (i.e. cooking utensils, games, plenty of towels). The Market on the resort is a great little spot to grab any small grocery items you may need and there are several restaurants nearby.

Brief Getaway
Despite the fact that my short stay at the property was rained out and I only caught a glimpse of the spectacular view, I enjoyed the experience. Everything was spotless, the kitchen was well equipped, there were lots of towels and toilet paper (not always a given) and the location was breathtaking. There was great hiking nearby. Also, the internet access and cell phone coverage was really good. I will definitely come back.

Perfect getaway spot
This cabin was just perfect for a long weekend getaway. Located on a quiet street with plenty of space and a great view of the mountains and stars. Close enough to town or to Wintergreen market, spa, restaurants without being in the middle of any crowds. Perfect!
