Home on Broadway (Staycation Apartment)

Enjoy a peaceful small-town morning with a cup of coffee, a comfortable Cal-King bed to sleep, a living room to relax, play games with your family or do some artwork. Meals can be cooked in the fully furnished kitchen. There's desk space to do office work, fast WiFi and a Smart TV. Private parking behind the house, a private entrance and a coded door lock to come and go at your convenience. If you are coming for one of our famous local events, we are located close to the heart of the action.
This is a second floor apartment with modern Boho-styled decor, remodeled spaces and geared toward longer stays. Set in the small town of Sugarcreek, famous for it's rolling hills and Swiss-styled architecture, this cozy apartment is a small home-away-from-home. Conveniently located 10 minutes off of I-77, on the outskirts of Amish Country. A five minute walk to Main Street. Coffee shops, bakeries, a variety of restaurants, shopping centers and attractions all within a 5 minute drive. Amish Country attractions are a convenient 10-15 minute drive away.

A surprising little gem
We enjoyed the stay. It was a pleasant, quiet and a cute little apartment. The owner lives downstairs, but you don’t even know it. The layout of the apartment is quaint, it is a charming old house. I think they should add that it is an upstairs apartment. There quite a few steps. Other than that, it’s perfect. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and were looking for a quaint place to stay. This was perfect quite comfortable and inviting. The hosts were excellent very accommodating and friendly. It was convenient to everything we were looking for. If you are looking for convenience, location, comfort, clean then I highly recommend choosing to stay here!

Clean and nice
The apartment was clean and nicely set up. However I either missed it in the listing or it wasn’t well explained that this is a portion of someone’s home that has been separated off as a VRBO. You have a side entrance but that same door has a door to their dwelling as well. Once inside there is no way to lock off your area unless you are there. You can lock from inside but if you leave, only the outer door is locked. Makes one a little nervous about leaving anything of value knowing anyone in the home could go right up. That aside, the place is nice. It’s in the middle of town so if you’re there during week, be prepared to be awoken early by normal neighborhood sounds and footsteps in the home below you. Not a location you could sleep in very long if there during the week. Might be different on weekend. I don’t know. However the price was good and the owners very sweet!! Everything was clean and well stocked as well! Just wasn’t exactly what I had expected. Only leaving this so future guests are aware in case they are expecting something different. Might have just been my error reading listing. Just didn’t seem clear to me

Great Retreat Time for Me
The property managers were great. I really enjoyed meeting and talking with them. They cared and were ready to meet my needs. It was for me a perfect spot, somewhat away from a lot of action, to retreat. My wife passed a couple months ago. This was a new experience in a rental space that had everything that this one person needed in addition to friendly and good people with whom to speak. If the opportunity presents itself, I will stay here again!

Peaceful getaway
We stayed for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. What a cozy retreat from the outside world. We had everything we needed to relax and stay in but also only steps away from restaurants and shops. We loved exploring the area during the day. We will absolutely keep the lovely home in mind next time we are in the Sugar Creek area.

Quite little town
I wasn’t there much during the day. In the evenings I could occasionally hear the family below but it was t that bad for the price of the apartment. Overall good stay.

Came for Swissfest
The host was super responsive, arranged for a barricade pass for in and out during festival. Handy parking behind an older upstairs cozy apartment. Very clean, well equipped relaxing space, feels larger than pictures. Take care on the stairs (typical for older home). Easy short walk to World’s largest Cuckoo Clock, Alpine Hills Museum, apple fritters at Esther’s Bakery. Loved this small town celebration and having everything we needed right there, couldn’t be better! Now that my secret is out hopefully this rental will be available next time I visit.
