The Space:
Serendipity by Tiny Away is located on the edge of the serene town of Parkes, just 3 hours away from the bustling city of Canberra. This charming tiny home is tucked away amidst the beauty of the Aussie Bush, offering access to our sprawling 18-acre property. Set on a gentle slope, it boasts picturesque views of the surrounding farmland, tranquil dams, and lush native vegetation.
Embark on an adventure to Old Dubbo Gaol and Taronga Western Plains Zoo, where the past meets the wild. Then, venture further to Cowra, also only an hour's drive away where the streets are a picturesque tapestry of heritage buildings that beckon adventurers to wander and immerse themselves in its timeless charm.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with portable electric cooktop (single burner), cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).
If you plan to spend your tiny house NSW getaway here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be some animal and farmyard noise during your stay with us. For light sleepers, we recommend bringing earplugs for a well-rested stay.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and are welcome to roam freely across our expansive 18-acre farm. During the warmer months, feel free to dip in the pool, while in the cooler seasons, gather around (our regularly) lit fire pit for cozy evenings.
While strolling through our gardens, you're welcome to gather any ripe seasonal produce you come across. Additionally, our chooks and guinea fowls will appreciate any food scraps you toss into their yard!

Guests can travel via train, bus or plane to Parkes then catch a taxi to our property if they don't wish to drive.
Head west on Cookamidgera Road towards Military Road for 6.2km. (4km bitumen, 2km gravel)
Turn right onto Military Road, drive for 1.6km
Turn left onto Henry Parkes Way, drive for 5km

Other Things to Note:
- No uninvited guests or visitors allowed
- Please note that we have chooks and guinea fowl
- Recycling & garbage bins are located next to the shed
- Expect potential noise from our 3-younger children and pets
- No smoking inside the tiny home. Please use the ashtray provided outside the cabin when smoking
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Smoking is restricted to the outdoor area of the Tiny House during the windy summer months where the ashtray is provided & not amongst the bushland
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
