"Given the restrictions of a very old property (grade 2 listed) they have done a good job updating yet not spoiling. A charming and comfortable stay."

"Beautiful old building bursting with history, helpful and friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. Easy and free parking round the back. Only downside is the very steep stais to the second floor, worth bearing in mind for anyone with mobility issues."

"We were the only guests Limited staff Despite being only guests we couldn’t extend our departure We had wanted to stay until closer to midday as we were attending a midday funeral but house keeping needed to clean room for later incoming guests In the end we sat in Costa to kill time"

"Have not stayed here for a few years, not a lot has changed, stilll amazing room, with walk in shower and huge, comfortable bed. Plus some nice extra touches in the room with upmarket décor and mini fridge The brasserie is not open Mon/Tues but the café offers evening meals that were fabulous. Delicious, fresh and a great selection. The staff were amazing as well, great service, friendly and superbly attentive. Will be looking to stay here again"

"We have stayed her before and we will stay again. A lovely location by the sea. Very efficient and friendly staff. A few issues with room (no.5), water not draining from bath, mirror light not working. I know maintenance will be sorting these out soon, probably already sorted! Wonderful cooked breakfast in the morning."

"Very enjoyable stay the hosts were very accommodating. First class breakfast. The whole place was so clean but not uncomfortable or clinical. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Would stay again. One minor criticism the room was terribly hot, but otherwise a brilliant find. "
