Fairways Luxury - Exclusive 2 bedroom penthouse on small friendly complex

This exclusive two bedroom penthouse sleeps up to six, is privately owned. There should be no confusion between this property and some other sparse holiday properties offered by others. 'Fairways' is a quiet and secure complex built in Andalusian village style. There are sub tropical gardens and an immaculate heated swimming pool which has a professional full time life guard. The accommodation and resort are ideal for families and those seeking a quiet haven in which to relax. The apartment was completely refurbished in 2021 and now has FREE unlimited Wifi . MOST important is the south-facing terrace / balconies to ensure all day sun, plus a full sized rooftop solarium sun deck . There are breath-taking views of the sea in one direction and Mount Teide volcano the other. Cool tiles cover the floor and all lounges are very spacious. Both have English TV, , DVD & Audio. The refurbished kitchen is modern fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, toaster, etc. There is no charge for utilities or lining.

For the young ones there is a children's Club, free, professionally and organised entertainment is available most days and an outdoor play area with safety flooring, slides, climbing frame, swing, ping pong , table football and occasionally a bouncy castle. This is situated in a safe secure area within the Complex
Fairways is a private complex and is gated. It is ultra safe and secure, but the penthouses have an electronic safe for peace of mind. If you are arriving 'out of hours' when the Supermarket is closed you will not starve as there will be a free welcome pack waiting for you. Also there is a 24hour key collection service for 'out of hours' arrivals.

Another lovely stay at Fairways
The area and resort are wonderful, this was our second visit. Complex is very clean with lots of amenities for all ages. The area is within a short walk of restaurants and bars as well as those on the complex. The sea is around 10 minute walk. The only reason we’ve reviewed with just 4 stars is that we were disappointed with the apartment which is tired and could do with a refit. As always Roger was a very communicative host and his agents at Fairways very friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit Fairways again but just not this apartment.

Lovely apartment and a great resort
The property was perfect. Spotlessly clean and in a great position in the complex. There’s a supermarket opposite for fresh croissants in the morning and a big supermarket a short distance away. The beds in the apartment were really comfortable. The pool area and particularly the pool bar was great and had themed menus and definitely the best paella I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend this apartment and look forward to visiting again

Super
Sejour sur fevrier en famille nous avons passe un excellent sejour dans cet appartement. Proche de la piscine sans entendre de bruit . Piscine chauffee entre 25 et 26 degres au top. Faciliter de se garer dehors .. Par contre frigo trop petit pour 6 a notre gout Que 5 chaises interieur . impossibilite de faire dormir quelqu un dans le lit canape qui est juste sur les ressorts . Si on reste sur la location avion tous les 5 min . Ballon d eau chaude limite pour 6 personnes mais se recharde a une vitesse grand V . Et a savoir nous sommes au 2 eme etage pour les personnes qui on du mal a bouger ..sinon l endroit est calme le soir . Le site est vraiment tres beau . Le propriétaire est disponible par email rien a dire ...merci encore

Great penthouse in a beautiful surrounding
We really enjoyed our stay. The penthouse was gorgeous and it was exactly what we needed. Amazing is the roofterrace we we practiced every morning Gi Gong and yoga. We booked for one week but extended for an additional week as it was just perfect for us . I highly recommend this place!

Winter Sun Getaway
We had a great time staying here at this lovely penthouse flat. There is a great view of the mature landscaped gardens below with a running water feature that adds to the tranquillity of the place. We spent time on the rooftop sun deck with a pre dinner drink watching the most colourful sunsets. Some of the local restaurants were closed, might not have reopened since lockdown, but the ones that were open served some amazing food. My favourite was the Alecrim on the sea front but we had great food wherever we went.

Belle résidence avec piscine
L'appartement était très fonctionnel, bien agencé avec 2 chambres et 2 salle de bains WC. Nous avons apprécié le grand balcon ou nous avons toujours pris les repas ainsi que le toit terrasse avec sa belle vue le soir (assez ventée et fraîche cependant). L'endroit est calme sauf lors des passages d'avion mais qui ne sont pas exactement au dessus et pas si dérangeants. Il y a peu de vis à vis La résidence est bien entretenue, bien conçue, avec de belles plantations, une très belle piscine. L'endroit est cependant un peu excentré pour faire de nombreuses excursions mais proche de l'autoroute. Plutôt prisée pour les touristes pour le farniente au soleil. Région très touristique de masse.

Great Apartment on a lovely complex with a fantastic pool
We really loved our stay on Fairways. The apartment was maintained to a high standard, and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The local management folks were really helpful in booking trips out and anything else we required. Some really good restaurants, which were excellent value for money, were a short stroll away. As a family we loved walking around the marina after a meal looking at the boats. You can also hire a jet ski trip from there which was terrific value and during which we saw all sorts of marine mammals. All in all Fairways is a lovely place to stay, and which easy striking distance of all the main attractions. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you for letting us stay.

Really enjoyable stay!
We have just returned after a week in this apartment. It is just as listed and very comfortable. It has everything you need. We have stayed on this complex before and it is really lovely. Great heated pool with pool bar(happy hour 3-5....!). There are a number of restaurants close by and others you can walk to. We always hire a car as we enjoy exploring and being able to go a bit further afield. Great place for adults and those with children. Would recommend.

A relaxing stay in a very well kept complex.
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The communication and welcome from the owner was excellent and provided a lot of information about the resort which was much appreciated, especially the restaurant reviews! The apartment has everything you need. We were very impressed with how everything was organised for our arrival. The staff at the Fairways complex are so professional and friendly. The whole place is secure and very well run. The resort is close to the airport and on the flight path, so be aware that aircraft are coming in over the complex at regular intervals. I would highly recommend this for families - the complex pool is lovely!

Spot On!
Very well equipped, light and airy two bed apartment facing the fishpond and gardens to the front and left view to the pool. It has a lovely sunny balcony and a roof terrace. Added bonus of a built in bbq, which we used 3 times during the week! Fairways is a lovely, safe complex with pool, pool bar, onsite restaurants and plenty of sun beds around the pool. Supermarket is situated opposite the complex. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Perfect for a chill out holiday.

We have just returned from a week staying in the penthouse apartment at Fairways. We would agree with previous comments that the owner was very helpful and always responded to our messages quickly. The apartment was easy to get to from the airport (although guests should be aware that the complex is right in the flight path so there is almost constant aircraft overhead - not really a problem for us, and the kids loved aeroplane spotting!). The apartment was well equipped, with plenty of towels (of all sizes) and comfortable beds and sofas. There was a nice balcony and a good sized roof terrace, both with outdoor furniture supplied. The apartment was nice inside, and some rooms have been modernised since the photos shown on this website. The Fairways complex itself was also very nice, and we all loved the pool area, which was very clean and safe, with all day round lifeguard presence. There are a number of bars and restaurants on site (we ate at Fusion a couple of times), with more a short walk away. There is also a supermarket across the road for essentials, but we found bigger, better stocked ones a short distance away (by car). On that subject, we would comment that if visitors want to be in easier reach of some of the bigger attractions on the island, car hire would be a good idea, as there are not bus stops immediately at Amarilla Golf. Some of the parks did do a bus collection from Fairways and we used this service to get to Jungle Park. Susanne and Steve at Amarilla car hire were very helpful and friendly, and patiently helped us work out a good itinerary of places to visit with our children (5 and 2). We also rented a car from them for a couple of days, and this was arranged easily. All in all, we had a really good stay at Fairways!

Offered everything it said on the tin!!!!!
Thank you, we really enjoyed our recent stay in Fairways. The apartment was lovely and clean and in a super position on the complex. Being there with friends was a bonus for us as they knew where to eat and we had some lovely meals out ( Mary's and the fish restaurant in Los Abrigos to name just two). Visited parts of the island that we perhaps wouldn't have got to ourselves. I have to just mention that this apartment is extremely secure - after locking ourselves out on our last night we were rescued by the security guard and a maintenance man who fortunately had a ladder!!!! Thanks to both. I have only given four stars and feel a little mean as this was down to the bed being not particularly comfy and the pillows in my mind do need renewing. Please could you consider 'normal' sized people and put in bath sized towels please!! On saying that we do plan to return in the future and would recommend to anyone!!! Thanks Roger for all your communication.
