Hermosa casa de pueblo tradicional con vistas al puerto deportivo desde la azotea

Casa Aragosta es una casa de pueblo tradicional de Malta que se encuentra en las escaleras de las calles laterales encantadores de Senglea. La casa se compone de 4 plantas y un terrance techo y ha sido recientemente renovado, con todos los nuevos interiores. La puerta principal se abre a un pasillo, con baño al final y la escalera principal que conduce a la cocina abierta / comedor y sala de recepción con caja de balcón en el primer piso. Dos dormitorios se encuentran en el piso de arriba, el primero de los cuales tiene un balcón que da a la calle de abajo. La planta superior contiene el tercer dormitorio y escaleras hasta la azotea. Los baños están situados en el hueco de la escalera, con dos duchas walk-in y dos aseos.

We loved this traditional Maltese home in a quiet authentic neighborhood. It was well furnished with coffee and tea and essentials. The bus station and ferry are within very easy walking distance to get to the heart of Valletta in 20 or 30 minutes. Check in and out was personal and easy. Communication was great. The terrace was nice on a sunny day with great views. There is not a microwave but we made good use of the washing machine and the coffee press. As other reviews mention, there are many stairs both in the house and neighborhood - typical of the area. The mattresses could use replacing or toppers as some of the springs have seen better days. Thank you so much for the opportunity to rent this beautiful house!

Beautiful maltese house
We had a great and relaxing stay in this charming home. From the roof terrace you have a marvelous view onto the bay. The house is fully equipped. Sylvana, the housekeeper, was very supportive whenever we had a question. Nearby there are small stores for groceries and a lot of nice and cosy restaurants. A small minus: mosquito protection at the bedroom windows would be great and the sofa should be replaced. Thanks for this wonderful time we had in your home.

Wundervolles Stadthaus im Herzen der Drei-Städte
Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage in Senglea. Das Haus hat viel Charme und ist zugleich mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Der Kontakt mit Victoria war von Beginn an sehr angenehm. Und besonders auch der Empfang von Sylvana vor Ort war sehr herzlich und informativ. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Wir können einen Urlaub im Stadthaus allen sehr empfehlen.

Excellent Séjour!!!
Nous venons de passer un excellent séjour de 14 jours dans cette jolie maison Maltaise. Dans un premier temps, nous mettons un point d'honneur sur l'accueil chaleureux de Sylvana. Maison idéalement située, au calme tout en étant près de restaurants (mention spéciale pour le restaurant Aqua blue). Vue imprenable de la terrasse. La maison est très bien équipée, effectivement la nuit il fait chaud mais heureusement elle est équipée de ventilateurs dans toutes les pièces. Stationnement gratuit et facile. Les navettes fluviales pour accéder à la Valette sont proches et pas chères, sont régulières et jusqu'à tard le soir. Merci beaucoup de nous avoir permis de visiter cette belle île dans les meilleures conditions. P.S: il faut être en forme physiquement car beaucoup de marche pour accéder à la maison et dans la maison.

Short stay in Senglea
We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Communication between the owner and Sylvana was excellent. Sylvana met us and took us to the house which was full of charm and character and in a great location. The people in Senglea were warm and welcoming and we enjoyed the local restaurants and visits to the surrounding areas. Would certainly visit again Alison and Ray

Perfekter Urlaub auf Malta
Wer gerne das maltesische Leben kennen lernen möchte, aber auch die touristischen Aktivitäten, ist seht gut in Senglea aufgehoben. Das Haus war top. Gut sortiert und hat einem tollen Blick von der Dachterasse über den Hafen. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub.

Town House in good location but needs some improvements
The house is in a good location with easy access to local restaurants and ferry to Veleta. Likes: Good location, shops nearby (check opening times they are a bit random). Internet works fine. Dislikes: The whole house needs a deep clean. Building work going on next door and down the street. Roof space is in my opinion is dangerous there is no balustrade down one side and no hand rail to the roof opening. The house would benefit from AC it topped 38 degrees in June. Tips: Download the eCabs App for taxi transfers or Bolt.

Lovely stay in Senglea
Had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The balcony was the highlight and a wonderful breakfast spot. The place was clean, comfortable and both Sylvana and the owner were extremely helpful and accommodating. A number of dining spots within a 5 minute walk as well as the ferry to Valletta. Many stairs in the property which is its charm but need to be able to manage them! Great place in Senglea

Mooie authentieke locatie in een prachtige omgeving. Snel in Valetta via de watertaxi en in de omgeving gezellige en lekkere restaurant in het midden van een context waar de historie nog van af spat. Zowel als verblijf als de locatie waar het staat een aanrader.

Haus mit viel Charme in toller Lage
Für unseren Urlaub zu zweit im Spätherbst hätten wir es nicht schöner haben können: Das alte Haus besticht durch seinen Charme und durch die schöne und zentrale Lage. Das Highlight ist natürlich die Dachterrasse mit dem Blick auf den Yachthafen. Man wohnt abseits der Touristenströme und gleichzeitig doch so zentral, dass man die vielen offenen Restaurants am Hafen genießen und durch die schönen Gassen von Senglea oder Vittoriosa bummeln kann. Auch die nur ein paar Minuten entfernte Pendelfähre rüber nach Valletta war in der zweiten Oktoberhälfte noch bis nachts im Dauerbetrieb und ermöglichte auch spontane Überfahrten. Wir haben uns zwar für ein paar Tage ein Auto gemietet und sind die Insel abgefahren. Unser Fazit war aber, dass es nirgendwo so schön und ideal zu wohnen war wie in Senglea.

Great week on Malta in October
We really loved our home, the Casa Aragosta, in Senglea! It was a very nice week, the house was perfect for us. Every evening we sat on the roof terrace. We made several trips by boat, bus and car and met everywhere friendly people. We loved the short ways to the ferry, to the food markets, to Vittoriosa, Valletta. Sylvana was a wonderful housekeeper, very helpful and patient with us!

Wonderful stay in in non-tourist area
The house was lovely - lots of stairs to manage but we enjoyed mornings and evenings on the roof terrace. Well equipped kitchen for eating in. The local area is great with lots of local shops and a fairly untouched feel to it - we hardly saw many other tourists despite it being the height of summer. Transport to Valletta is great on the ferry and buses easy to get around on as well.

Wonderful stay in Senglea
We really enjoyed our stay in this property, it is a stylish mix of old and new, the view from the terrace is wonderful. There are a lot of steps to the different levels and in the summer the property is hot but there are plenty of fans in the living area and bedrooms. The area is super for sitting out in the marina and taking in the view of the boats and it is very easy to hop on the ferry over to Valetta. There is a good selection of places to eat within a very short walk or the kitchen is very well equipped if you wanted to cook yourself. Slyvana was welcoming and happily answered any questions we had.

Great apartment in Senglea
We stayed in Senglea for five nights in July. It was hot as could be outside, but the apartment was fresh and airy. Exactly as listed the beautiful historic location was well appointed while maintaining it's historic charm. Each of the rooms felt private and it was easy to have family time and spend time alone. At a time of year when it wasn't so hot the roof deck would be a wonderful place to breakfast or hang out. We mostly used it for a night cap or a late evening conversation. The area is away from the touristy parts of Valletta but easy to get around from. We loved the waterfront and its' nice local feel. I would recommend this apartment to anyone with the caveat that there are a lot of stairs, it might be hard for an elderly person or small child. Otherwise way more than five stars in my book.

A house full of character.
We stayed with 6 adults in this beautiful house in Senglea (what a magnificent part of the city) The house is situated in a very lovely street. In the morning it is a special experience to go by boat to the city. It is really an amazing view!! The house is very comfortable and spacious. The view from the roof terrace is breathtaking! A month in Senglea
The house is beautiful. It sits in a quiet authentic street, full of the sights and sounds of the three cities. Perhaps the biggest challenge on a daily basis was the June heat, though the lower parts of the house remained cool. Swimming at the point, eating by the waterside and wandering the ancient streets were a delight. The roof terrace in the cool of the evening is magical.

Schöne Unterkunft mit atemberaubender Dachterrasse
Es handelt sich um ein großes Apartment in guter Lage mit toller Dachterrasse. Es erstreckt sich über mehrere Etagen, man ist aber alleine für sich. Die Ausstattung ist gut, es fehlt allerdings ein TV. Dafür gibt es schnelles Internet. Die zwei Bäder sind modern und verfügen über Duschen. In der Nähe gibt es einige Restaurants, die durchaus zu empfehlen. Wir fanden Tullys Fusion sehr gut. Wir würden das Apartment empfehlen sind. Den Sternabzug gibt es wegen des fehlenden TVs und dem Geruch in einer Toilette, der wohl mit der Bauweise zusammenhängt.

Ursprüngliches Wohnen auf Malta
Wir verbrachten eine herrliche Ferienwoche auf Malta. Ganz bewusst haben wir uns für dieses ca 500jährige maltesische Stadthaus entschieden, damit wir das ursprüngliche Malta erleben konnten. Meinem Mann und mir hat es sehr gut gefallen, uns war von Anfang an bewusst, dass unser Zuhause luxuriöser ist als die gewählte Unterkunft. Unsere drei Teenagerkinder hatten mit dieser Umstellung Mühe. Abends war es im Wohn- Esszimmer empfindlich kühl, die zwei bereit stehenden Radiatoren heizten jedoch schnell auf. Die Küche ist sehr einfach eingerichtet, ich war nicht traurig, dass wir jeweils die Hauptmahlzeit auswärts assen, ich hätte Mühe gehabt, mit dem vorhandenen Geschirr auszukommen. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen, absolut ruhig! Die Dachterrasse bietet einen traumhaften Blick! Mit der Fähre ist man in wenigen Minuten in la Valletta. Die Einkaufsmöglickeiten vor Ort sind eher bescheiden, fürs Nötigste jedoch reicht es! Für Reisende, die gerne luxuiös wohnen, ist das Stadthaus nichts. Es ist für Menschen, die das ursprüngliche Leben auf Malta kennenlernen wollen. Ein Riesenkompliment möchte ich Sylvana machen, unserer Ansprechperson vor Ort. Sie organisierte uns das Taxi sowohl bei der Ankunft wie auch bei der Abreise. Alle Fragen wurden innert weniger Minuten per Whatsapp beantwortet, sogar Milch und Wasser hatte sie besorgt bei unserer Ankunft. Als es Probleme gab bei der oberen Toilette, kam Sylvanas Mann sofort, die ganze Toilette wurde allerdings erst an unserem Abreisetag ausgebaut und ersetzt. Kein Problem, es hatte schliesslich zwei Klos! Ein wunderbar gastfreundliches Ehepaar! Wir werden Malta sicher wieder besuchen!

Romantisches altes Stadthaus im Herzen der Altstadt von Senglea
Wir (3 Frauen) haben den Aufenthalt in dem romantischen, ca. 500 Jahre altem Stadthaus im Herzen von Senglea sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll möbliert. Die Fotos der Website geben den Eindruck zutreffend wieder. Man fühlt sich in eine andere Zeit zurückversetzt. Allerdings ist das Haus für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Beweglichkeit aufgrund der vielen Stufen ( insgesamt ca. 50) nicht geeignet. Auch in der gesamten Umgebung heisst es Treppensteigen. Solche alten Gemäuer haben eine gewisse Grundfeuchtigkeit und Hellhörigkeit - das liegt in der Natur der Dinge. Dafür wird man durch das Flair, das kein Neubau bieten kann, entschädigt. Sylvana, die Haushälterin, ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ein weiteres Plus ist die unmittelbare Nähe zur Uferpromenade mit den zahlreichen Restaurants und Cafés. Unser Favorit, als Fans von Fischgerichten, ist das Marina. In der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Tante-Emma-Läden, in denen man seinen Lebensmittelbedarf decken kann. Die Bushaltestelle L'Isla befindet sich ca. 5 Minuten entfernt. Man kann die meisten Ziele gut mit dem Bus erreichen, benötigt aber etwas Geduld, da die Haltestellen sehr dicht aufeinander folgen und daher etwas mehr Zeit eingeplant werden muss. Wir sind damit gut zurecht gekommen. Es dürfte etwas schwierig sein in den mittelalterlichen Gässchen einen Parkplatz für den Mietwagen zu ergattern. Schön ist auch das Übersetzen mit der Fähre direkt nach Valetta. Der Fähranleger ist ca. 12 Minuten fussläufig entfernt am gegenüberliegendem Ufer (Vittoriosa) entfernt. Fazit: wir können dieses Haus Individualisten, die ein Domizil abseits des Massentourismus suchen, uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Sollten wir uns wieder für einen Urlaub in Malta entscheiden (in einer Woche kann man unmöglich alles erkunden), würden wir uns wieder für dieses Haus entscheiden.
