Spacious 46' Yacht: Luxury, kayaks, walk to town

Floating cozy and charming "Blue Goose" is located in the heart of Gig Harbor where all of the historic sites and restaurants are within a short walking distance. Rare boat at a rare historic net shed and dock. Use the provided kayaks to paddle around lovely Gig Harbor--or paddle to the Tides Tavern or Anthony's seafood for lunch! Complete with two en suite staterooms, a cozy living room, and a view of sunsets and Mount Rainier! Sit on the upper deck for coffee/cocktails, bbq, watch activity.
The space
The beds are tight! They fit two folks but it’s tight. So plan to cuddle!
Guest access
The net shed, other docks and boats are not included with this rental.
Other things to note
Occasionally there will be events/celebrations in the net shed. Please feel free to walk through to access your boat. Know that we will comply with quiet hours at 10pm too. For safety, the propane oven has been disabled.

Additionally, the harbor pump out service services the septic tank on the boat weekly - it will not interfere with your stay as they only access the outside of the boat.

OVERNIGHT STAY FOR US OLD FOLKS
A really pleasant experience. Had a little trouble locating the address as we couldn't locate the address number. All of us are in our 80's so the tight interior tested our nimbleness. The rental was accurately represented.

This place was incredible! The right size for two of us (could come with a kid but that's probably it for people) and in the best location. VERY comfortable beds and it's nice to have 1.5 bathrooms. Overall...it was a 10! We will definitely be back.

We had a great time staying on the Blue Goose! The location was within walking distance to everything in the Harbor. The area was quiet and the boat was easily accessible. The wine, snacks, and board games were a nice treat which made for a perfect evening on the one night it was raining. On the night it was not raining we enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the harbor while the sun set. Absolutely beautiful! We used the kayaks to explore the harbor and saw many harbor seals and stopped at the lighthouse with the sandy beach. The beds are very comfortable, plenty of linens/blankets and supplies were provided. Communication was impeccable.

Perfect for a weekend getaway
Pictures and description do not lie...everything was as advertized. It was a nice surprise to see Mt. Rainier off in the distance our last morning aboard. Very comfortable mattresses, pillows are soft and comfy, and plenty of blankets to keep you warm. Our water boiler for coffee tripped the circuit breaker both mornings. On the first morning we were able to reset the circuit breaker successfully...the second morning we weren't as successful. There are things to do the morning of check-out that we weren't originally aware of (take sheets off the bed, wash dishes, take out trash, etc.) We left the property before we got a message from the host with check-out instructions so we had to turn back and return to the property to check out properly. I would just recommend the host to send out check-out notes the night before instead of the morning of since we had to leave at the crack of dawn for an early flight. But anyone considering this property, don't think twice. It's fabulous and you won't regret it. If you do stay, be sure to read the book on the table...everything you need to know for your stay is in there.

Excellent and Comfortable
Our stay was wonderful. The boat is located in a great downtown location walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The boat itself was comfortable and clean. There are 2 comfortable bedrooms each with a bathroom. The common spaces were nice, clean and we had everything we needed. Communication with Michelle was clear. Overall it was a wonderful and quiet stay.

This was an incredible experience!! The location was walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The kayaks were so much fun, we even had seals swim by! At night, it is very quiet and peaceful. They had the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on.

Great proximity to GigHarbor. Boat clean & well stocked - linens, kitchen, etc. Beds comfortable. No mosquitoes!! Sensational views. Wife gave me an A+ for planning this one. Only negatives: Constant sugar ants on galley countertops. *** the email sent by Michelle, day before arrival - poorly worded, “ No Guests!” Made it sound like a friend could not drop by for a drink. Should clarify to read : “ No Overnight Guests.” Jay & Laurie, on Shamrockin next door, had same unfriendly take.

Wonderful Getaway
We had an amazing time on the beautiful Blue Goose. So many lovely details both in how the boat is designed and in how the property owners set it up for us. We were welcomed by calm music, lighting, wine, snacks, and everything was just so. Thanks for providing such a special place. Truly a dream boat.

Perfect Gig Harbor experience.
The Blue Goose is right next door to the most happening spot in Gig Harbor, The Tides Tavern. Designated parking was a huge advantage. The boat itself is beautiful and nicely appointed and the host was very responsive to our emails.

Unique boat experience
We are boaters and enjoyed being able to stay in Gig Harbor on a “houseboat “ while visiting friends who live there. It was just perfect, allowing us to entertain our friends in a great location. It had all the amenities we expected, but only room for 4 if you’re planning on a dinner for more. The historic Net Shed was very cool and the day they were leaving, it was being set up for a bridal shower. I’m sure it was spectacular. There were a few things missing in the galley, like potholders and a cheese grater, but no big deal. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Gig Harbor! We’ll be back!
