Also had good tea/ coffee making station, tv, comfortable bed. The hotel allowed my dog to stay and staff made both of us very welcome. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. "

"Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast "

We were the only guests for dinner but didn't feel awkward as the staff including the chef were chatting with us. The place was full of character whilst giving attention to comfort.
