Just wow!
We had an amazing stay at this home and a mini reunion with our adult kids that live in Oregon. We’ve been to Hood River a few times but wanted to see what the Washington side was about, and it didn’t disappoint. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine to enjoy! Nice touch! The views from the house were spectacular. The space was great, it wasn’t crowded when we were all there at the same time. We fit the dinner table perfectly. We love to cook, so we made use of the kitchen a lot. It has everything you need to cook any meal. White Salmon was a cool little town, and we were able to jog around the area. The only thing that we weren’t aware of is paying the toll to go both ways. We booked activities and spent time in the Oregon side biking and hiking but had to pay $3.50 each way. Overall, the house was great, I give it a 5-star and would come back again. Thank you to the hosts!

Great rental for hiking Waterfall Corridor and Hood River
Beautiful views of Mt Hood and the Columbia River from the living room, dining room, and the wonderful deck. We loved our stay with our two adult children. The host was accommodating and the description was very accurate. We did occasionally when on the deck hear the resident on the first floor but it was never an issue. We never heard him from inside the house.

Lovely Home
This property was really nice. The house itself was perfect. We had everything we needed. It was decorated so cute. Then the view was so spectacular. We saw Mt. Hood everyday for breakfast, dinner right out the window. The location was up in the hills with an orchard and vineyard right behind us. It felt like we were in Tuscany. I would definitely stay here again.

Breathtaking Retreat
Be prepared to be blown away! The views from this house are spectacular! The pictures on VRBO don't do it justice. The bedding and decor in the bedrooms has been updated since the VRBO pictures and is modish and very on trend! The hosts were easy to work with and quick to reply even when we accidentally locked the door the wrong way and locked ourselves out!! The beds were VERY comfortable and the kitchen was well-appointed. We were a short drive to our wedding venue in Hood River across the bridge (there is a $2 cash toll to go each way on the bridge so have some cash!) Our family of 4 stayed here for our daughter's wedding week and this relaxing home was a godsend at the end of each day. Would 100% recommend and would love to stay again!

A lovely home, but the downstairs neighbors
The house is lovely. Amazing views, great layout for our family of five and nicely decorated and stocked with extra towels, pillows, etc. But, the constant STRONG smell of "weed" being smoked by the tenant(s) downstairs and music made our stay less enjoyable for sure.

Fabulous View House
The house is wonderful with amazing view of Mt. Hood and Columbia River. Easy to drive to, comfortable beds and clean inside the house. Trash from prior renters was stacked around trash can outside and neighborhood dogs got into it. I called and informed owner/manager via voicemail that it needed tending to and never heard back from him. I was told by a neighbor that he hasn't been putting trash in dumpster for pick-up on Thursdays, so it seems this wasn't the first time he neglected the trash. I left a note along with our trash just inside the door so dogs wouldn't spread more trash around. The kitchen sink drains slowly and the toilet in bath nearest kitchen needs attention as it pulls water regularly on its own. We are returning to this area later this year, and due to the inattention to the trash issue, we will choose a different rental, which is unfortunate as we loved the house itself. Thanks. M. Haskin

Great Location with Amazing View of Mount Hood
House was clean, well stocked and the view was amazing. Once the clouds lifted, Mount Hood was spectacular. Easy drive to grocery stores, restaurants, even bowling in Hood River. Will definitely come again.

Great Spot with Fantastic Views
The space had a great open floor plan with large windows and a deck providing beautiful views of the mountain as well as the gorge below. It was also short driving distances from multiple wineries, restaurants, etc., and had ample parking. Very clean with lots of amenities, making it easy to feel at home while we were there.

Great base for wine tasting
This house was wonderful. WE especially loved the "turn on with a switch" gas fireplace. Outstanding view (albeit with telephone wires) and a great base to do some wine tasting in both Oregon and Washington. We really enjoyed the extremely well outfitted kitchen. Our experience with other rentals has taught us to bring spices and such with us but this kitchen is ready to go for all kinds of entertaining. Only recommendation would be for the manager to turn up the water heater temperature. Our showers were barely hot. Everything else was perfect.

We had lots of activities planned for the weekend but ended up ditching many of them in favor of relaxing on the deck and enjoying the stunning view. The house is beautiful, clean and updated. Absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends.

Fabulous place! Beautiful views! Even better than the pictures. The deck has new comfortable furniture and an umbrella. The TV has XM radio. Plenty of spices available in the kitchen. Bedding has a duvet cover that is washed along with the sheets. Plenty of nice clean fluffy towels. We used the driver one day to explore a few wineries. He was very accommodating, prompt and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place.

Had a great experience staying here with my fiancé for our Wedding week in hood river. Beautiful views, lovely home that was just as described. My aunt and uncle built this house. It was fun to see the changes made. My uncle said “why didn’t we do that” in regards to the primary bed and bath. A trip down memory lane. The view is still as beautiful as ever.

Incredible views and great space
Very nice place overall. Lacks basic kitchen items (cooking oils, spices). Oven was difficult to figure out (4 women found it difficult, so....). A larger assortment of pots and pans would be an improvement. If you plan to make many meals, you’ll need to bring items from store or home. Otherwise, a wonderful stay! We’ll definitely come back.

Exceeded Expectations
You never know if a property is going to be as nice as the pictures suggest. In this case the remodeled interior and the view exceeded our expectations. Very nicely decorated and remodeled with quality materials. The interior was very very clean upon arival. The location was an easy drive into Hood River. We were very pleased with the overall experience.

Fun girls getaway
Beautiful property with amazing view! House is beautifully decorated and is as pictured. Deck is great for sitting out and enjoying the sun. Only issue was the kitchen drastically needs more pots and pans and master bathroom had no towels. Also, ottoman for couch is on wheels and I was not aware and went flying through the air and landed on my back. A rug may help to make it safer :) All in all the house is in a beautiful location and close to tons of wineries! We greatly enjoyed our stay!
