"Property was excellent on all counts! Clean, comfortable, and convenient. We were in town to deal with family events and it was a perfect spot to end each day in a relaxing manner. The host was so accommodating!! We needed to extend because of unforeseen issues and it couldn't have been easier. Definitely recommend if you're considering a stay in Forest City."

"My wife and I had the best time. It is the greatest little cozy and quiet super clean place we had stayed so far, 3 min to hiking and close enough to asheville and chimney rock, you could find. They are wonderful people with the cutest little dog. A+++ rating for sure"

"The interior of the property was very nice and clean. This is a house split into 3 units. One upstairs and 2 downstairs. One of the downstairs units has a mattress on the floor and no other furnishings. Our unit was around back through a french door. The landscaping was awful as was the driveway. It's right by some train tracks too. The train really didn't bother us, but we did have to cross them to come and go. The neighbors seemed to be okay. They both have dogs but there wasn't an issue with...

"My son and I usually stay in Chimney Rock- but due to the destruction of Chimney Rock that was not possible- we decided to stay in Lake Lure to help the community.
