Nice property but a little outdated. We had to switch rooms b/c the first one had stains and rips in the carpet! Also, it was a joined room, which we were not made aware of. Our second room was smaller than the first room but I didn’t complain since they allowed us to check in super early! The pool area was smaller than the pics and the gym was next to it, with a glass separating the rooms, which was weird! You also have to walk into the spa to get to both the pool and gym, again, a little weird! The area surrounding the hotel was nice, close to shopping, eating and attractions such as the Art Institute and Theatre District. As in all major cities, there were a few homeless people in the area of the hotel but nothing alarming! I would consider staying here again if I possibly had a suite & our stay was a little shorter

Most of the things are really good except for a time where we asked the housekeeping to make the pull out bed 4 different times and waited for hours before the bed was finally made. We went to talk to the front desk and they told us that someone marked it as completed at a time but that person never came nor did anything. So, it was very concerning. I wish the shampoo and conditioner things are in small plastic bottles, the idea seems a bit less eco-friendly. The phone in the room did not work for the first few days. So, it was difficult to call or receive call. Staff was nice. Some of them do look not very happy to be at work though. We loved the location and the pool. The view was amazing. Bed was pretty rough on our backs but that was not the deal breaker.
