Centre ville a short walk with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Centrally located and easy to visit Verdun sites in the area. Highly recommend! Perfect for a couple."

"Ce gîte nous a permis de réunir la famille (petits et grands) pour quelques jours. Le fait que chaque chambre ait sa salle de bain est formidable. La cuisine est très bien équipée, surtout son four xxl et sa cuisinière qui sont très bien pour cuisiner des grandes quantités. Côté activités et cultures: la grande guerre avec la butte de Vauquois, ravin du génie, mémorial de Verdun, ou la cave de Joseph Perrier à Châlon en Champagne.... "Gezellige ruimte. Alles aanwezig. Tv met cast-mogelijkheid. Badkamer erg krap, op toilet moeten zitten met schuifdeur maar net dicht. Met 1 pas zit je vanuit je bed op het toilet. Tweede nacht was het erg vochtig in de ruimte. Er kon geen klapraam open, was geen ventilatie. Locatie dicht bij de winkelstraten, centrum. Parkeren gratis, straat verderop dus dat was super."

"wij vonden het huis van binnen super voor ons 3-en. Ruim, schoon en netjes. Bedden al opgemaakt. Alles wat we nodig hadden, was er. Zelfs Senseo pads, thee, suiker. Alhoewel een Senseo-apparaat onhandig is als je 6 koppen koffie nodig hebt, met 3 personen ieder 2 koppen. Dan is een koffiezetapparaat gemakkelijker. Maar dat went en is een kwestie van aanpassen. In het dorp is alleen een bakker met lekker brood en croissants. Verder geen supermarkt in de buurt. Op de televisie alleen Franstalige...

"Barricourt is een klein dorp op het Franse platteland. We zijn met onze drie kinderen heerlijk tot rust gekomen. Geen wifi is wel even wennen, maar geeft wel rust. Eigenaren zijn gastvrije en behulpzame mensen! We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad. À bientôt!"

"For a 2-star property, I give B&B Hotel Verdun 5 stars. It is a basic hotel, but a good stop for seeing the area, the battlefields and forts. The staff is very nice. FYI, there are stairs, no elevator. The rooms are not large, but they work for a 1-night stay. Breakfast was pastries, granola, yogurt, beans, mushrooms, toast.
