Welcome to Wapo Chalet Vail, Unit B, hosted by Alpine Co-Hosts where we are proud to have had the opportunity to host one of the founders of ABB here. They enjoyed breathtaking views, spacious living, luxury amenities, and a convenient location near Lionshead and Vail Village. Just steps away from the free in-town bus, outdoor fireplace, private patios, and more. Easy access to explore!

Our local house manager, Matthew, will be your primary point of contact throughout the entire process. Once your reservation is secured, he’ll be dedicated to ensuring that your trip goes off without a hitch. With his extensive local knowledge, Matthew will provide you with the best recommendations for dining, activities, transportation, and much more. Need grocery delivery, ski/snowboard rentals, or even a personal chef? He can arrange it all! That’s the advantage of staying with us—experience the personalized, five-star service that enhances every moment of your stay.

As you settle into this beautiful property, we want to remind you of the various amenities and services available to enhance your experience. The chalet features four spacious bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind.


~~Master Suite~Top Floor~ This spacious and luxurious en suite features a comfortable king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a pull-out couch for additional sleeping space if needed, direct access to the outdoor patio for enjoying the fresh mountain air, a large private office for any work or personal tasks that require attention during your vacation, and even a washer/dryer conveniently located in the spacious master closet. ~~Guest Bedroom 1 downstairs~~ This inviting bedroom offers a cozy queen-size bed, ample storage space for all your belongings, and a private bathroom. See Floor plans in Photo section.


~~Guest Bedroom 2 downstairs~~ Another charming bedroom with a queen-size bed provides a peaceful retreat for relaxation. It also has convenient access to the shared full bathroom. See Floor plans in Photo section.


~~Bunk Room~~ Perfect for families or groups traveling together, this room features one sturdy bunk bed (top twin bed, bottom full bed) and shares the same full bathroom as Guest Bedroom 2 with bathtub and STEAM SHOWER!!. See Floor plans in Photo section.


Throughout the chalet, you'll find baseboard heating and a gas fireplace that create a cozy atmosphere no matter the season. The updated kitchen is fully equipped for preparing delicious meals while the game room offers entertainment options for everyone. Outdoor enthusiasts will love gathering around the private fire pit or indulging in relaxation in our private, inviting hot tub.


Convenience is at your doorstep with easy access to public transportation just steps away from the chalet. Additionally, Lionshead Village is only an 8-minute walk away offering an array of shops, restaurants,and entertainment options.

From the moment the sun rises over the peaks in the morning, bathing the home in warm sunlight, to the vibrant energy of skiers gracefully descending the slopes during the day, every moment offers a visual feast. As evening falls, the twinkling lights of Vail come to life, creating a magical atmosphere perfect for unwinding with your favorite drink in hand.

We understand that work or personal tasks may require attention even during your vacation. That's why we've provided an exclusive private office within our Master Suite - offering dedicated workspace tailored to your needs. Reliable Wi-Fi throughout ensures seamless connectivity throughout the entire property.

Laundry won't be an issue during your stay as we've equipped Wapo Chalet Vail with not one but two laundry rooms! You'll find full-size washers and dryers conveniently located on both levels of the chalet for added convenience.

Parking is hassle-free with our spacious heated driveway accommodating up to four standard-sized vehicles comfortably. Please note that there is no garage parking available for rental guests; however, all patios and walkways are heated for year-round accessibility. This home is a Duplex, Unit B is the rental. There is NO shared spaces in this home, completely private from Unit A.


We also welcome dogs at Wapo Chalet Vail because we understand that they are part of the family too. Please ensure that your dogs are under 50 lbs in weight each, and you're welcome to bring up to two dogs along. A $250 deposit is required as part of our pet policy, which will be reimbursed if no damages occur during your stay.

To keep the living areas clutter-free, we kindly request that equipment and gear be stored outside of the main living area. Our exterior closet is equipped with ski racks and carefully organized to accommodate your winter sports equipment. Feel free to indulge in some outdoor fun using the sleds and snowshoes provided for your enjoyment.


Convenience continues with easy access to public transportation just steps away from the chalet. The Sandstone Bus Route (purple) can be accessed by turning right from the house towards Red Sandstone Road where you'll find the bus stop waiting to whisk you away on your chosen adventures.


At Wapo Chalet Vail, we proudly partner with Alpine Co-Hosts - a renowned Luxury Short-Term Rental Management Company dedicated to ensuring an exceptional guest experience.Their professional staff manages and maintains our vacation rental properties guaranteeing utmost comfort throughout your stay. They can assist with various services such as ski lessons, lift tickets, restaurant recommendations, private chef services, and more! Simply reach out if you need any assistance or have any questions during your visit.

**BOOKING:**
To secure your stay, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 90 days before your arrival.

Extended stays are welcome, and we offer discounted monthly rates!

Please note that additional cleaning services may be required based on the size of your group. If needed, an Alpine Co-Hosts representative will reach out to discuss the details.

Amazing Summer Family Vacation
The home was gorgeous and fully equipped with everything you need! The host was wonderful to work with and very quick with communication. Location was fantastic, on the road up to Piney Lakes which is a family favorite and very short drive to the villages and grocery stores. Highly recommend and hope to be back agai !

Beautiful home, great location- read description fully
This is a beautiful duplex home, walking distance to the village. Please read the description as some of the photos of the bedrooms were misleading. There is only 1 master with a king, two very small queen rooms and a bunk room. One of the photos listed said there was a second king located on the bottom floor- there is not. You also do not have access to the garage as the photos may suggest. I recognize this is a dog friendly property, but the home was filled with dog hair. On the couches, beds, pillows- we ended up washing the sheets immediately. Housekeeping also showed up 30 minutes after our check in time to provide soap- in which they filled the containers with water. No hand soap in any bathrooms, shampoo and conditioner were so watered down you wouldn’t use it. While these may seem small, for the cost to rent this home, it should be cleaned and have decent toiletries. Host was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Loved the house and location. Easy walk to Lionshead and to Vail village. Hiking options right behind the house. Easy in and out of I70….super short drive to grocery stores. Great house layout. Very roomy master suite. Well equipped. Great stay over the 4th of July week.

Family reunion
The property was gorgeous. Plenty of room for sleeping and privacy. Located so we could either go out for meals or cook for ourselves. The fire pit and hot tub allowed for causal conversation and great “catching up” stories. Would love to come back for ski season

Splendid vacation home
We were a family group of 8adults and 3 children(under 6yrs old). This vacation home was not only wonderful, it was impeccable. Very spacious, sparkling clean, well stocked, walking distance to both Vail Village and Lionshead, bus stop a couple of minutes walk away from the home if one wanted to take the free bus into town. The host was very attentive to our questions, brought in an extra Park & Play for our 1 year old grand-daughter. When the host came by and saw our grand daughter crawling, he went and bought a child safety gate for the staircase to keep her safe, and the list goes on ….. of all that the host did to make sure that it was a comfortable vacation for us. I cannot recommend this house enough! 100 percent amazing vacation home.

Perfect spot for our annual ski trip
We stayed for 3 nights during our annual ski trip, it was the first time hitting Vail. The house couldn’t have been more perfect for our group of five, there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and great living space for meals and movies. Convenient parking and just a few minutes drive from Lionshead, we’ll definitely stay again next time we rotate through Vail!

Wonderful All Around!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! It was 6 adults (2 grandparents, 2 sets of parents) and 4 kids ages 3 - 10. The home is so well laid out for a group like ours - the kids LOVED the playroom! Everything was fully stocked... it felt like home. The location was outstanding (< 5 minutes to Lionshead and Vail Village) and the views were gorgeous. The service was impeccable as well. We would definitely return!!

Incredible Stay!
This house is even better than advertised! The location is amazing, the finishes inside/outside the home are very high end, and the owners have thought of every detail inside the house to make it a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this home!
