Relaxing Walla Walla Getaway
My husband and I have stayed in Walla Walla before, in town, but this time we were looking for something a little more removed, but still relatively close to it all. Kim and Bill’s cozy cabin by the creek was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of personal touches and so much care for the cabin and it’s guests. I recommend this spot so highly if you are looking to getaway from it all while still being close to it all; we can’t wait to return!

Magnificent vacation
My husband just completed a complicated work project and needed a well-deserved vacation. Bill and Kim opened up their house for us and we were most blessed by their generosity. We saw 6 deer. A couple dogs. The frost everywhere was beautiful. We had everything we could possibly need for our stay. We were warm and cozy. Kim stopped by to check on us to make sure were doing good. She is so friendly. If you ever get the opportunity to stay, don't hesitate. You will be impressed!! Thank you again, most graciously, Kim and Bill!!!

The best little cabin
Kim and Bill have done an amazing job on this little cabin on the river! There is even a private beach with chairs and umbrellas! So cozy and comfy. One of the best we have stayed at. Don’t miss this gem!

2nd time staying at property, this experience was even better than the first. The location is a fantastic home base for all kinds of outdoor activities in the area, and close enough to town to be convenient. The property is extremely clean, well-kept, and stocked with amenities and nice touches. Owners friendly and extremely helpful.

Great Get Away
We had an amazing weekend at this cute little cabin. The beach and creek was what sold us on this spot and it did not disappoint! Everything was outstanding. We will be back! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

This cozy little house with a creek running by was fantastic. The house was very nicely decorated. On arrival the dining table was set and a beautiful sunflower bouquet welcomed us to the view of the creek. The deer who played on the back lawn and all the hummingbirds added to the peaceful location. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans. The host was extremely pleasant and responded quickly to meet all of our needs. This is a home we look forward to visiting again.

EVERYTHING PERFECT
Beautiful setting, great hosts & neighbors. The cabin has everything you could possibly think of & more!! Far enough away from town but close enough to tour the nearby wineries. The creek, wildlife & landscaping provide a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Really can't think of any improvements. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

Relaxing in Nature
This was a spontaneous getaway for us and were able to book this gem in the woods a few days before we arrived. We can't say enough about how this was exactly what we were looking for and what we needed for a mental "reset." Everything was perfect from the time we arrived until we left. Kim goes above and beyond for her guests and it shows in every possible way. We planned to fit in a hike and time in Walla Walla, which we did do but found ourselves minimizing our outings so we could get back to the cabin and enjoy just being there. We ended up being so glad that we brought things to cook for dinner instead of going out. The deer greeted us each morning and came back in the evening to say Hi as well. The sound of the river lulled us to sleep each night and we finally got some of the best nights sleep we have had in months. Thank you again for sharing Red Fox Retreat and we will be back again very soon.

We love being close to the water, and the beautiful creek just steps away from the lounge chairs was a big draw for us. Red Fox Retreat is an absolutely lovely home away from home. It is wonderfully comfortable inside and out, and completely stocked with countless thoughtful touches. It is super clean and well kept. The friendly deer were frequent visitors and we got the most amazing photos! Kim and Bill are fabulous hosts and we are already planning a return to see the fall colors!

Fabulous get away in the woods
We arrived in the evening, had absolutely no Problem checking in. All the instructions were very clear and this place has all the comforts of home ! What an amazing place to spend some much needed down time! Nestled in the woods along side a beautiful steam , we got to hand feed deer, we munched in complimentary popcorn and hot coco. The beautiful sounds of birds chirping in the morning and the loveliness of tree frogs in the evening made for such a relaxing time . The attention and detail that this home provides makes it one of our top stays ! Thanks so much and if peace and relaxation is what you’re looking for, this is the place for you!

great lil get'away
Great opportunity to stay within striking distance of the local area and still be able to enjoy nature. There are several places to stay "in-town' however, not many to step outside and really unwind and enjoy nature. The owners have attended to every detail you could possibly desire and left nothing to want. We used the cabin to set up a base camp to visit with friends and family and set out on adventures ranging from Lake Wallowa, Pendleton, Milton Freewater, Dayton and Walla2. If your looking for a unique and relaxing location to set up camp, this is your best option, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

5 Stars is not enough to sum up this property. My husband surprised me with a trip here for my 62nd birthday. The moment we pulled into the driveway we both knew we had made the right choice. Upon entering we felt and saw the love that Kim and Bill had put into the home. The decor is stylish and up to date and quite cozy. Kim went out of her way with all of the personal touches and attention to detail. She had also placed a card, birthday banner and a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the dining table for me.The outdoors are amazing! Being in nature with the trees,plants,water and wildlife, so much peacefulness! I could go on and on but Ill just say that we strongly recommend this vacation home if you're seeking a peaceful get away coupled with adventure. The hosts are very nice and have been very generous in making 100% sure their guests have an excellent stay.

Wonderful cabin
This is a wonderful cabin on a beautiful stream. The cabin, the setting, and the hosts were all perfect. We had a great stay and really enjoyed all of the amenities provided. The cabin was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed, and super comfortable. Highly recommend!

Nature Retreat
It is amazing to find this beautiful creek, an abundance of huge trees, a colorful mountain side, flowers and ferns in the middle of the desert side of Washington. With all the friendly deer, wild turkeys, hoards of quail, hummingbirds, etc. I felt like Snow White might be living around the corner. That is just a taste of the surroundings of an immaculate cabin, with all the comforts of home. Well stocked with everything you need, including a lovely bottle of wine to greet you on arrival. Kim has a real talent for her decorating skills, you can tell she loves her work. We can't wait to visit again, and when we do, it will be our third time.

Second time
This was our second stay at Red Fox Retreat and we will definitely return. The house is immaculate and very comfortable for our anniversary get away. Kim and Bill provide anything you could possible want but decided not to bring! We enjoyed the new propane fire table while watching the deer and turkey. This is our favorite VRBO rental!!! Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing!
My husband and I loved this place for our long weekend in Walla Walla! The cabin was wonderful and had everything you would ever need. They were so thoughtful in the creation of this cabin from having a fully stocked kitchen, s’mores supplies, coffee bar, outdoor blankets, and bathroom hygiene products. The yard was beautifully taken care of with and herb garden, bbq grill, outdoor furniture, wild turkeys and friendly deer! You can feed the deer apples out of your hand! We really want to come back any experience this place again!

A Real Gem
Staying at the Red Fox Retreat was like "glamping" at a HGTV model home. It was not only beautifully decorated, it was super clean and had everything we needed and so much more. You can feel the love the property owners have for this camp. Every home amenity we could think of was available, and very well stocked. Not only was the cabin/home amazing, the grounds were impeccable! There were even fresh herbs in the garden. The deer and the still nursing fawns were right on the property, oh sooo cute, some would eat right out of my hand. There were an abundance of birds, including terns, humming birds, and wild turkeys. The wild life photo opportunities were everywhere. There were different areas around the property for lounging, and we were lucky to be there during the salmon spawning in the creek which is right outside the back door. The neighbors up the road were so nice, and happy to share their knowledge of the area. We really felt at home! We booked our second stay before we even left the property.

Like Goldilocks...just right!
In a nutshell...Kim and Bill's creekside place is "enchanting"! Everything this solo traveler could want or need is right there. From wildlife, and the singing creek, to a charming 'wine country' home--the place is a delight. So peaceful, so nicely put together with all the amenities. I could feel all the love that went into the making of the Red Fox Retreat. It is a true get-away-from-it-all spot just a short trip to Walla Walla and surrounded by local wineries and wine tasting spots and beautiful country. I did not want to leave!

Great relaxing creekside cabin
We had a great relaxing weekend at this wonderful cabin with creekside beach. Deer and turkeys visit daily and are fun to watch. The cabin itself is a great place to stay with its nice decor and everything you need for a getaway.

Perfect Spot to Rejuvenate!
Where to begin? First we were greeted by the owners, who were incredibly thoughtful and kind. The little cabin is stocked with all sorts of surprises! If you’re a coffee drinker, you have three choices of ways to make it! And last but not least, the outside is absolutely beautiful! The sound of the creek and the hammock make for a very restful afternoon nap. And don’t forget to feed the deer! So fun. I would highly recommend for an anniversary or honeymoon spot! Or come alone to just get away from it all!

absolutely fabulous!!!!!
I really don't think there are enough words to compliment how wonderful this place is....absolutely everything you need is there and then some....it is so clean and cozy....the location is enchanting....we saw several deer and I was able to feed one from my hand....the sound of the creek was soothing....I recorded about 15 minutes to save as a reminder....I am so amazed by this place.....I have never been to a place that has 5 stars across the board and by every visitor and now I know why.... thank you Bill and Kim for allowing us to share this place with you.....I wish we had found you sooner.....we want to return in the Fall to see what's like when the leaves change..... again, you are fabulous people....take very good care of yourselves.... mary and arnie williams
