"One of my favourite hotels to stay in. Very homely, the beds are incredibly comfy and the whole hotel is beautifully decorated and I love how quirky it is. Love the games/bar area and self service kitchen. The owners always friendly and accommodating. Look forward to staying again."

"Our stay was really great. Due to flight delays I called the hotel to let them know we’d be late arriving. The receptionist stayed open later to welcome us, a really good feeling after our journey. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in the area."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Woodvale. The food was excellent and despite it being a very busy time (just a few days before Christmas so lots of big parties) we didn't wait too long for our meals. We had a lovely, en-suite family room with a sea view. There was a sofa and coffee table too which gave us another space to sit, rather than just the bed. I was given a substitute small room with single bed that squeaked everytime you moved. Stuff on the side for hot drinks but no kettle or mug. An utter shambles of a place in poor condition "
