This cabin was built piece by piece board by board mostly from the oak and pine wood we got from our land. all the cabin is custom made . We built it with the guest in mind, the back porch is more than 400 sf above the valley with gorgeous views. This cabin sleeps 16 people comfortably. This cabin has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths and 2 full kitchens. There is a separate living area that can be utilized for separate groups that want to be together but have privacy. There is a smaller cabin that sleeps 6 on the same property that are in walking distance from one another. Please ask for details. this is located about 5 min drive from windrock general store no trailer needed.

Great stay
We had a group of 15 from WV stay and we had a great time. I will let everyone know, there are stray dogs that are running around the area and even in coolers and closed boxes, they were able to get into our food on the front porch. So anything extra, I would put on the back porch. But other than that, we had a great time this week!

Our stay was great! We loved the cabin and the location was very convenient for what we were there for! The owner was quick to respond when we had questions. The place was pretty clean for the most part. The only “bad” thing was there was some muddy clothes left on the back deck, I assume from the previous people who stayed, that didn’t get picked up before we arrived. But we just moved them to the side, they didn’t bother us. The beds were super comfortable!

Cabin is nice! We could not get the Keurig to work, and there was not an LP tank for the grill but they did bring us one. Overall the cabin was nice but could use a little extra cleaning.

Amazing Stay
Perfect cabin that has everything you need. Just a short drive from the Windrock General Store. Owner was very tentative and nice. Has a new feel with still the homey cabin feel.

Great Cabin!
The cabin was beautiful! We had a few minor hiccups, but they were resolved quickly. The host reached out throughout our stay to check on us. I would recommend 4-Wheel Drive to get up the driveway if you have a trailer. We weren't able to sleep in the basement due to the cold temperature. It was an overall great cabin!

Amazing Cabin, Perfect Location!
We absolutely LOVED this cabin. The location was perfect in relation to riding at Windrock. Once we parked the trucks and unloaded, we didn’t touch the trucks again until it was time to head home. If you have a loaded trailer, you will need 4 wheel drive on the driveway but we had no issues. The cabin was clean, provided everything we could need, and had amazing views. I got some gorgeous pictures off the deck. The host was also very responsive and great to deal with! We cooked 2 meals a day at the cabin (for 6 adults) and had basically everything we needed!

Great location - even better cabin!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It’s beautiful, and the setting is amazing. It is super close to Windrock, and a great place to spend some time. I highly recommend it.

Amazing location
The cabin was absolutely awesome and exceeded expectations, only thing that should be disclosed is the sharp turn into the driveway and the grade of the driveway, if I didn’t have a 4wd truck it would have been a problem towing a loaded trailer

Spacious cabin!
Great new cabin! Very spacious with 2 of the bedrooms with king size beds- nice bonus as most homes don’t offer this! Beds were very comfortable too Kitchen was well stocked with pots/ pans etc. Front and back porch offered a cozy place to take in the scenery. Cabin was clean and nicely decorated. Easy access to WindRock park. Owner was easily accessible. We will be coming back!!

Windrock Ridge Review 10/24/22
Very nice place with great communication from the owner. If you have a big truck and trailer, you may want to think about unloading and parking at one of the Windrock parking lots. You definitely need four wheel drive to get even a smaller loaded trailer up the drive. We did not have access to laundry facilities or an outside water supply. Neither were a must, but would have been nice.
