"We loved the property. The views are exceptional. We were able to see a beautiful fox, all kinds of birds, lots of cute chipmunks. We enjoyed being close to nature great break from the big city. The cottage is very comfortable, and it has all you need to feel like home. The location is perfect we. it's away from town but not too much that we were able to drive around to restaurants and stores as well as short distance to other little towns. We had a great time."

"Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. "We absolutely loved this home and didn’t want to leave! The view of the water was serene and tranquil. We found ourselves gazing from the windows for hours and watching the wildlife. The bedrooms are perfectly placed with sunrooms attached to two of the rooms with thoughtful amenities provided throughout the home. The coffee and tea pods for the keurig was a nice touch. "A terrific cozy cabin for a getaway with our dogs. The property was in a good location, close to town, with ample yard to explore wiwith the pups. The cabin was cozy and comfortable."

"The almost permanent view of the lake was magnificent. Since the lake is west of the property, the sunsets are also wonderful. I even took one of the kayaks out to the Lighthouse. Even though it looks far away but it only took about 10 minutes of easy paddling. Great place for a peaceful vacation. Bar Harbour was close enough for quick day trip and then the Loop at Acadia Nat'l Park provided great panoramic views."

"Rustic charm like I have not seen before. Be prepared to stay in a real log cabin, plank floors, pitched log walls and all. Rustic as I mentioned yet still has the creature comforts we like to take for granted, plenty of hot water, full kitchen including a dishwasher, and internet connection. If we get back I will stay there again for the big front porch and serene setting on the hillside above the water."

"I wish I could give 5 stars, but I can’t. We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon, at 4:30. We unlocked the door and entered into a powerful smell. Campfire. Black soot up the front of the fireplace and the smell was awful. And of coarse, we are super sensitive to the smell. Looking around, I found the couch to be filthy, every screen had nasty cobwebs, dirt on the floor, bedding filthy, mold on the shower floor, Bathroom faucet was disgusting and obviously not cleaned .
